I'm normally a doubter of Apple products, but their laptops seem to be more of a complete package than any Windows laptops. So far, this one has looong battery life even with multiple IDEs open. It stays cool to the touch, even when playing Civ 6. The 120hz screen is very smooth with gorgeous colors, and the speakers have excellent sound. I was debating over this or a slightly cheaper Air 15, this one loses an inch of screen size in comparison but the laptop body itself is actually a lot smaller than the Air which is great for portability (though the weight is about the same). I definitely recommend this laptop if you need a fast, smooth laptop for programming and maybe even light games. Yes, it's more expensive than a budget laptop, but every windows laptop seems to have some kind of tradeoff (eg. battery life, heat, fan noise) that the Macbook doesn't have. 5 |
