First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE.

This thing is amazing. I often shoot quick videos with my phone and the video quality is good by sound often echoes. This recorder solves that. All you need is this recorder and you control it yourself, then sync the sound. Sound quality is excellent. Just as good or better than my sennheiser lav mic ($700), just easier to use. Fantastic investment.

I had been on the phone with techs from Sennheiser and other companies trying to get my Sennheiser SW100g3 rig working with my new Hydrogen 1, or any phone for that matter, as being able to film a thing with great audio at a distance onto a phone factor video cam was the holy grail for me. It means better video with less gear to carry, allowing more situations for high quality filming and audio no longer a problem. All the techs basically said it could not be done. I tried a LOT of adapters. But with this one, I didnt just get success, but a high quality stereo file for the recorded audio. I had to use 3rd party camera software and click a few things here and there, but it worked brilliantly.  If you need to use a pro audio recorder on your phone form video recorder, this will do it if your device has a USB-C io.

This camera is amazing! The picture quality is great! The video quality is far better than any phone camera! Love the flip up screen and the feature to control camera with the phone app! I highly recommend!

I needed a bracket to hold my phone for wireless communication with my osmo action cameras. I have a port dome case for capturing on the go fish, fish habitat and fishing content. I needed to make a custom platform to get more smooth video in tight spaces and also needed a means for viewing. This allows me much more flexibility and allows me to adjust for a better viewing angle when in the sun, as well as a screen shade. If you need a way to adapt a phone or other small screen for video/photo monitoring in the field, this is a great option. With both an arca type plate and a 1/4-20 and 3/8 thread mount is it adaptable to many scenarios.

Unfortunately, there are 2 things about it that I was disappointed to discover: 1) No WiFi calling. From what I've read on the Internet, this is actually the fault of the carrier (Verizon, T-Mobile, et al.), but Sony seems to get the blame. It's not a deal breaker for me, but for some folks who make a lot of phone calls and don't have good cell tower coverage, this could really make life tough. 2) Thermal management really is mediocre. Or rather, this phone does get warm from time to time. While I don't play games on my phone, I have noticed that using the video recording and the phone app extensively will get this phone rather warm. Otherwise, it is a normal temperature.

This is a really awesome case for your iPhone! I do a wide variety of content in the water from surf video to night snorkeling and recently brought this case with me to Tahiti and got some really cool videos of sea turtles. The case is really well built and the inside of the case has different size rubber bumpers that can be put inside to fit a variety of phone sizes incase you get a different iPhone that is a different size. The case does not necessarily float so it is important to understand that before you use it. I would highly suggest getting the bluetooth pistol grip as well as it makes it much easier/faster to take photos and start/stop video. Worth every penny... You can easily swipe on your phone screen with the phone inside of the case so in the event your phone goes to sleep, you can easily turn your phone back on using the touch screen and enter your password or use the Face ID feature. For anyone in need of recording video with sound, you can still do it when your phone is inside - of course it is a little 'muffled' sounding but not really that bad to be honest. Below I put a few screen shots of videos that I took. They were all just taken off of my iPhone 15 pro max. Overall I have nothing really negative at all to say about it - just get the pistol grip and a wrist leash and you are all set to go!
