Windows Screen Recorder Vlc

I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work?

A must have for me when using this field recorder, the only thing missing is a screen! LED let you know when you're recording and what inputs you are using.

The sound you can record with this recorder at this price range is amazing, not only you can use it as a recorder but also as a microphone that you can use directly to your windows/mac pc with a cable. Microphone is very sensitive so I suggest you get a windscreen

Have lot of big windows and always had issues seen screen. …….. not now with Frame Well worth it. Wish we had brought before Will be better when can get BBC I player

This is a very good product. I have been using it for about 18 months. I did have to educate myself about how to use DirectShow with VLC. But the hardware is very good quality. Now I just need Startech to make one capable of 4K video capture. I will buy it when they do.

Put all my content on it , great portable drive, iPad , iPhone connects with ease , use with VLC media player to do other file. Types . Works perfect for my needs

Captured video as good as the video was. It saved the captures in a strange, non standard format. Had to use VLC Media Player to convert to MP4. Other than that, it worked as advertised.

Excellent m/c. Very easy to use pity the speed cannot be adjusted. However the vlc site is excellent as well

Had a problem with a friend who wanted to get into film production again after a long hiatus and needed her collection of DVD-R demos transferred to computer for editing. I was attracted to this item in particular because it promised Linux support; ended up using Windows 10 with an upscaling blu ray player. Learned the hard way that programs like OBS Studio, Openshot, Handbrake, and Clipchamp had built-in masks for camcorder and phone aspect ratios and severely cropped the DVD player source picture. I lucked out with trying VLC Media player and it framed and I was able to record the DVD picture honest to the DVD original. VLC saved the project.

I am very pleased with this SanDisk SSD. I am shocked at how fast it is. I turn on my computer and all I see is the bios screen and then Windows, absolutely no loading screen. My computer is ready to go within 5 seconds of me turning it on in the morning. Navigating around the internet is fast also, I will click on a link and it loads instantly, Setup was easy, I just plugged the SSD in and installed windows 10 in about 20 minutes from a bootable USB stick. I would definitely recommend this drive and SanDisk is a trusted name in storage.
