This is by far the fastest machine I have ever used. SSD startup and file retrieval speeds are impressive. Processing power is unbelievable with 12 cores and 64 gig of 1333Mhz DDR3 ram. Easy access to the four HD bays and memory bays made upgrading a snap. Installation of 64 gig of ram took about 10 minutes. What will the next generation of MacPro offer? 5 |

This is the main purpose of the ssd, besides windows startup. To me, 256gb is quite large, and even more so since this is just a momentary stopping point for the most part for editing. Foresee this lasting quite some time. 5 |
