Good price, use it for a Windows 7 and a XP machine, no problems so far. 5 |

I bought this recorder to capture sound to accompany video shot with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR. This recorder seems perfect for that. Easy to set up and use, excellent microphones and choice of microphone configuration and use and REALLY GOOD sound quality. It is handy, as described. I can use it as a regular mic for voiceovers and so on at my desk as well as using it in the field. I am delighted with it. 5 |

With the new screen mounted on my GP10, I can now see clearly what I am shooting... and the ability to capture a better quality video has just been made so much easier 5 |

I'm just...WOW!!! The gain this device provides is more than you'll ever need on a dynamic mic. I'm using a Sennheizer MD-42 dynamic as the testing mic, I don't use it often because it needs a lot of gain. It works well on high end recorders, but for using it on a camera, the mic is just ok...It never satisfied me until I tried the XP-30D. This preamp allows much less gain on the recorder or your camera. And it's a LOT of GAIN!! Maybe too much in some cases, for example, on a Tascam DR-100 MKII recorder. I used a Tascam DR-100 Mark III recorder for this experiment. Now, I have to set the gain so Low, resulting in a super clean and hiss free audio, like most decent Condenser mics do. After plugging in the XP-30D, adjusting the gain to minimum wasn't enough. Additionally, on the DR100 MKIII recorder, I had to turn on the PAD filter on my recorder, then adjust the gain, WAY low! Further next, I also tested it on a Canon C100Mark II. These cameras have terrible preamps, and adding the MD-42 mic makes things even worse. I plugged the XP-30D in, turned on phantom power on the C100 MKII, and the gain was awesome! Please make sure you see the pictures I included in this review. It shows everything you want to see. If you're looking for a powerful preamp, look no further. It's insanely powerful. The only thing I didn't like is, when plugging the mic, the XLR "input" PLUG from the XP-30D makes the mic connection a little lose... I tried is also with another 3 mics. Same. However, the slightly loose connection I will NOT make noises or anything that would ruin your presentation or recording even if you touch the plug. It's just a little loose and I thought it is worth mentioning... Before I plugged it in for the first time I used it, I expected a snug fit like all XLRs do. Other than that, this thing REALLY does the job!! [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5 |

I've had a 6D and recently upgraded to the 6D MkII After 4 years with the 6D there were a few features I felt would be helpful within the Mk II. The first is the articulated screen. I've run into photo opportunities in crowds that I could not capture without an articulated screen. The Mk 2 has one of the few fully articulated screens in the business that allows you to capture images that almost no other DSLR will enable. That is a big deal. The second is the dual pixel focusing on live view. The Canon system is the best in the business and coupled with a quality full frame sensor allows both video and still images to remain in focus which competitors systems generally do not match. The biggest negative in the reviews involve lower dynamic range at low ISO, say between 100-300 ISO. I'm not doubting this but frankly I'm much more concerned in low light and performance at ISO of 6,400 plus. Most cameras capture beautiful images in bright light including the 6D Mk 2. Finally the 1080 video and focusing is very good. The lack of 4K video isn't a big deal to me but it would have been great to include it. That said, the processing needed to crop and produce 4K video is pretty intense and HD video is quite good. In closing, the 6D Mk 2 is an excellent camera for me. I typically use a Canon 24-105 L lens and a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens and obtain great results. 5 |

I bought this camera primarily to take video as I already have the Mark II and a 7D for still photography in studio. But I needed something that would take a bit better video than a webcam yet not as advanced as an actual video camera so I went with the 80D. I love the swing out LCD screen as I have a very limited amount of space to shoot in and in order to put the camera as close to the wall as possible, I needed to see what I was composing. Impossible to do by using the viewfinder, but with the adjustable LCD screen, I simply swing it out and around and and viola, I can see. Love this feature. Image quality is great too. I use this camera with a Rode wireless mic and the finished product I get is hand and foot above my webcam capture. And it works like every other Canon so there is no learning curve whatsoever. If you're looking for an upgrade for your video capture but don't produce tons of content, this is perfect in both quality and price. I highly recommend it. 5 |

I've been able to connect four Windows PCs (XP, 7, 8.1, 10) to an Epson all-in-one printer. Although my printer is wireless capable, I find USB connectivity more reliable and less frustrating. The packaged software (CD), as well as the included Installation Guide, are antiquated (Windows XP/Vista; Mac OS X) but were still useful for one of my connected PCs. Accessing the product manufacturer's website is required to obtain an up-to-date User Manual and to install applicable drivers for PCs with newer operating systems. This applies to Windows (7, 8.1, 10) and Mac (10.6 and above) with an available USB Type-A port. One 6-foot USB A-B cable is also included. Each of my PCs printed successfully to the one printer as intended. 5 |

I had to buy this item because the Motherboard Ethernet connection gave out, The PCI card slots are already in USE, one for the sound and the other for the USB 2.0 4 + 1 card is how I wanted to connect to my home network, and the third PCI slot is used for additional SATA/IDE port to increase the Page file for the PC with Windows XP Pro. Windows balked that I had to reacivate it, as to pay for Windows 8, as that was NO DICE!! I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro myself in which case, I already had the DVD OF, bought and paid for. This adaptor is the second ome I bought, as this mad it possible to activate it on line very quickly after I got everything back to normal. Windows does not like too many hardware changes!!! The original Ethernet adaptor did not need the CD to install its drivers, but the NEW ONE did! It is a BOO! on this process, it culd be plug and play ONLY!!! 5 |
