Wire Configuration In Xbox Headphones

This cable adapter is enabling me to use my old wire headphones.

Happy with the unit and purchase. Cost is effective, and I LOVE the size. I really needed it to NOT be a huge AV processor. The audio processing configuration set up with the Audessey mic is excellent. Also, audio quality is better than my entire last AV processor system. Quite good in fact, and I'm rather picky. The fact you need to perform a configuration before audio will come out is awkward, but being as agile and configurable as it is, that is to be forgiven. I will echo another review I saw previously that the speaker binding posts are quite horrible. I'm used to binding posts that are a bit cheesy at this price point, and I understand their closeness due to the density requirements of the back panel. But the screw for the post runs right through the middle of where the tinned leads need to go, making it almost impossible to connect and have the wire go through to the other side. Making a bend in the wire helped, but it still took me over 10 minutes to do the connections embarrassed and I'm an engineer and have been in high end audio for a few decades.

I use these headphones for mix n mastering. The wire they come with also works for the K240 MKII headphones as well.

Very pleased with the Audeze purchase. The headphones are easy to setup and connecting to my Xbox is consistently good. No issues with mic or sound and I'm a fan of utilizing the headphones to watch shows through apps on Xbox as well.

I use this as an amp for my headphones that I hookup to my Xbox 360. They sound great for my stereo headphones. The build quality is superb and feels solid. My only complaints are that whenever I plug-in in my headphones, it makes a very loud popping noise. This also happens if I plug-in the headphones before I plug-in the power. The other complaint is that the power cord loosely connects to the amp while the headphones and input jacks are very secure. I find that odd. Overall I am pleased though.

I love how quick they connected to my Xbox Series X and after that I was gaming in my living room for hours. Got in on a party chat with my friends and they heard me loud and clear. No static and they had plenty of volume for any game. Played some Halo Infinite and some Forza Horizon. The sound had some good punchy bass and had a great surround sound feeling. Even tried some Apple Music songs and the 50mm drivers really hit some good highs and mids just right. No complaints in the sound area. Back to party chat. I loved the feature of flicking up the mic to mute. Turns red when muted. Super convenient when you need a bathroom break. Lol Also cool that you can independently switch the sound of the game chat/game sound on the headset. Pretty nifty. The material for the cushion is really good quality and never bothered me when I was gaming. Super comfy. Came with all the accessories you would need for Pc, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Mac, and mobile. Cool little feature also is that you can charge them and game at the same time. If I had to give it a negative.. The little dongle is small and can get lost if you misplace it. But overall a solid pair of killer headphones. Now back to gaming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been playing computer video games right after the invention of the wheel in every configuration possible in both video and audio. I went from a highfalutin 5.1 surround system to mutiple experiments with 2.1 systems.but nothing engaged me fully in the gaming until now. Set up was again very easy with the dongle connection to the computers USB, download the JBL Quantum app and you are at the starting gate. Click on the 7.1 channel set up and it will launch a video on how to configure the headphones with Windows.This is when the fun starts. Press test after configuration and you will hear the 7.1 surround test pattern swirling around your head.Very cool. It took a little while for my brain to adapt to the ambience that these headphone provide and doing so wirelessly! Footsteps, voices in various enviroments, shot gun blast, and explosions, drew me into the game.Soon the headphones disappered and the gaming expierence became more pronouced and involving. Even my old games that I played over a million times had a new lease on life. But wait theres more. Besides my music library in my computer, I also stream music. Now I can listen to music with these headphones without being tied down to the computer. In fact the distance from the computer was very very impressive. Did I like these? Absolutly killer for gaming and music! They have not left my head!

It comes with 3 different sizes of ear buds, tangle free wire and the portion of the wire at each bud, the USB-C connector and at the "Y" connector appear reinforced. The product is easy to use and intuitive, press is for volume up, down for volume down and in the middle to play/pause music. Sound quality is above average for headphones in this price range. After tweaking the equalizer on Spotify, I was able to get excellent bass and decent highs out of the headphones. They are able to isolate sound well and while I haven't tested the water resistant capabilities, that is a selling point.
