Wired Computer Headsets With Mic

It just keeps getting better. The versatility of the GO II system is crazy. You can plug it into a computer/laptop for mobile productions but also to a mixing board. Audio is ok through the built in mics which are very convenient. No wire to run, just clip and go. The units are small, but still very noticeable on camera (see image) so if being discreet is important, stick with a wired mic (which these can also except). Haven't tested the wired mic setup on GO II's yet. I also used the RodeLink wireless system for a couple years and love them. They may have a longer range, but are larger, require battery care and not as portable. All in all, another solid Rode product making productions easier than ever.

The B&H team never disappoints. I needed a wired mic to computer while using AirPods for audio for live national television. It worked great for my needs. Professional/quality sound without having to jump up to the next level of additional equipment. And they helped me figure out how to set it up and make sure it worked the way I needed it, too. I ordered it with expedited shipping which also came right on time.

We started using the Eartec last week and found them to be very nice. We put our wired headsets away after 30 years of use. they still work and have a bit of static. The headsets are a little tight to wear, but I feel after a little usage they will be Ok. We are currently only using the first 3 headsets on Channel one and have not needed to use Channel 2 until we have a large performance in Church. One cameraman said he heard it beep a couple of times but had no other issues. Not sure if the battery was weakening or if it lost communication, will check it our next week. So far so good.

I replaced some older EarTec's with wired headsets - no wires is much nicer. They eliminate static, but require a minimum level of speech volume to pick up - so you can't whisper too quietly if the event requires it. Otherwise very nice and lightweight, comfortable to wear.

This is the perfect Mic for wired applications. Great for interviews!

Bought the mic because I was tired of those uncomfortable headsets, I've tried to use for work audio conferences through my PC. My idea was to use the laalier mic along with my normal (and comfortable) music headphones and a USB audio interface (which I already have from one of my headphones). Works like a charm... I can now spend hours on the phone in comfort. Thanks...

We use a particular wired Lav Mic in our studio. The mic manufacturer sells a clip designed to grasp the outer shell of the mic capsule. These clips grasp the cable instead which makes it more broadly useful. In adittion the little cable clips on this mic clip swivel, so I no longer need to stock the wireloop type clips in Vertical and Horizontal styles and be concerned about wireloop clips that break easily if someone tries to bend them even a little bit.

Worth every cent. Best sound quality yet from a wired mic.

I'm using this with my PreSonus 24c Digital Audio interface connected to my M1 Max, Macbook Pro laptop. I spend a lot of time on conference calls, and don't like wearing headsets and so I've been using a digital audio interface with an XLR mic for a few years to not have to use headsets or bluetooth earpieces when working with customers. My initial setup had a cheap(ish) Condenser mic from Audio-Technica. It worked well, and sounded better than my headsets or my airpods, but still picked up a lot more background noise than I would have liked. This mic is a huge upgrade. The sound quality is definitely much better and my voice comes through much nicer. But it's also more focused. It picks up much less background noise from other places in the house and does a much better job isolating on me talking. I'm not an audiophile. I'm not recording audiobooks or doing music of any kind. I'm occasionally recording technical guidance videos, but mostly I'm just on Zoom calls. For what I'm doing, this is probably a luxury item upgrade, but it's definitely an upgrade. If I ever start podcasting or streaming, I'll definitely be even happier to have this mic than I am already!

I'm purchasing these to replace 30-year-old Clear-Com headsets. The mic sounds good and overall audio quality is good. And these are fairly comfortable wearing them for long periods of time.
