This product was recommended to me by my MacBook Pro repair shop. I had had one speaker in my Mac Book Pro go out with a twice within a few months. He noticed I had the volume set on high and recommended this product to protect my internal speakers. He had purchased a couple for his children and was very satisfied with the product. When i purchased my speaker, I also purchased one for my husband. He had not been able to listen to his MacBook Pro without using a headset. This mic is amazing for its low price. This mic definitely has much better sound quality than my built-in mic on my Macbook Pro. No installation is needed either, just plug it in, change your audio input settings, and you are good to go. I use it for recording vocals and for webcamming (since my friends complain that they can't really hear me too well when I use the built-in mic). Purchase a pop-up filter or a windscreen if you are using it for vocals cause this mic does pick up the popping sound you make when you say P. Overall, this mic was a great purchase at a great price. 5 |
