Wired Vs Battery Wireless Security Cameras

Got this to extend the range on my wireless modem for my security cameras. So far I love it!!

Nice for both wired and wireless

This has everything I want for a remote shutter release. The wireless remote control has quite a long range; and if used for wired release you can just connect the cable to the receiver and to the camera, it doesn't even require the battery in the receiver. Both receiver and remote control work quite well, the only minor complaint I have is that you'll need to unscrew two tiny screws in the remote control to replace the battery if needed. I'm not sure why they don't design it the same way as the receiver on which you can just slide off the cover to get to the battery.

The ability to play wired and wireless is a great feature. The battery life is good and allows you to go through most game sessions without having to charge. The main downside to this headset is the strap it comes with is uncomfortable.

I like the wireless cameras with the easy to change out battery pack. The 3 cell is much better than the 2 cell.

I like the Lorex systems for self control of my security. Battery powered wireless systems are easy to install and maintain. Not tied to a paid service. Thumbs up.

I had a different unit that served as a surge protector and battery backup for my security cameras. After a few years, the other units battery became faulty and it constantly beeped. It had a rather unique battery that was quite costly. I searched around and found this current unit from BH and it was just what I needed at a much better value. This unit is Compact, and also has a digital readout. It is also aesthetically appealing to the eyes. If I ever need another product like this, BH is definitely the place that I will get it from. I have had wireless remotes but they never last. I use the extension with the wired shutterboss and have had no problems.
