Wireless Backup Camera And Mirror

Great small drive, using it to mirror other drive as backup. 5 |

This is a great way to release the shutter on a Canon camera without touching it. How it interfaces with the camera depends on the camera model. The prior model would only work with a two-second delay during which time the mirror inexplicably stayed down. Now you can defeat the delay and/or combine it with mirror lockup. One good thing not documented that I can see is that in live view mode one press of the button on this wireless will trigger all exposures in a sequence (e.g., for HDR.) One very dumb thing: the receiver for the wireless signal on the camera is on the front but the photographer is almost always going to be behind it. Why not two receivers? How much could that cost? 5 |

I use the wireless remote to trigger my D7000 when on a tripod and using the mirror up mode of the camera. Most recently this involved taking pictures of the moon. The remote works excellent for that and is very inexpensive 5 |

if your wireless unit fails you, this is your backup. 5 |

It went great. I was running 3 backup drives and one died. This larger one I installed and partitioned to mirror what the original 3 were called. I put it in and took out the 2 still good ones. Acronis never figured out there was a change and all backups going like clockwork. A little lower rpm than original but I expect fine to backup and more rugged so more secure. 5 |

Bought two of these 2 TB external drives, one for backup of images and the other to mirror the backup. Easy to set up and fast. 5 |

Without a Wireless remote for your Nikon DSLR you are just risking the quality and sharpness of your images. Using the timer is a good option, but the timer will not be a good option for all photo occasions. For example when shooting with long telephotos this is so important, and if you what to minimize vibration from the mirror by locking the mirror up. This is the device for Nikon DSLR users. 5 |

I’m just getting back into photography. I was using point and shoot, 30 second timer etc. I got a new mirror less Canon R. This wireless remote was recommended to me. It was easy to setup and use! I’m very happy with it and recommend it! 5 |

Wireless remote works great for taking pictures with slow shutter speeds. With the mirror locked in the up position, using the remote eliminates all vibration. 5 |

This remote is tiny, but it works quite well. I use it in the mirror up mode for a lot of my shooting, and it's great to have a wireless control option without having a wireless receiver dongle on one side of your camera. 5 |
