Wireless is great until there's a problem. That's why I always carry backup cords to a shoot on location.

Works just as well as my notebooks internal wireless card. It makes a good backup solution.

I shopped around a fair bit looking for a weekend bag that could stand up to some rough times in airports and on buses and trains, but still look classy. I think this is it! It holds a few changes of clothes, one pair of non-bulky shoes and some toiletries. The strap is comfortable and the bag seems very sturdy and well-made. I wish it came in another color, maybe a burgundy or tree green. But other than that, it's great!

I traveled throughout Europe and it rolled great and managed all of the bumps I gave it from trains, buses, and hauling it upstairs.

My needs are specific. I shoot yachts, luxury buses, and private jets. I need to be able to set the camera up in tight spaces where i can't possibly look through the lens finder. I can set this up in a corner with a wide lens and capture the angles I need while setting up live view on myIphone. Very happy.

I purchased these just before a vacation. They've been great drowning the noise on planes, trains and buses.

So the trick with this unit is that your speeds increase with RAID 0 the more slots you fill.  With a single 512GB SSD, I got 671MB/s write and 781MB/s read. Not bad, but certainly not in the 2,500MB/s range that I get with my Macbookss internal SSD.  But, when I filled all four slots with 512GB SSDs, I got 2,024MB/s write and 2,470 read speeds which is very close to my internal SSD. One thing not mentioned, if your computer has TWO Thunderbolt buses, (not ports, but buses), then you can run two of these and RAID-0 them across both enclosures which is one of the advantages of Softraid. Then, leveraging both buses the two enclosure will deliver in the 3,500MB/s range of performance. Expensive, sure, but for pure speed in rendering , say, video, it may be worth it. Only grip is the fan is a tad noisy and it would nice if it would power off the fan when possible , it seems to stay on as long as there is power. Quality is top notch though and it just works.
