This camera was purchased to serve as a backup to my D500. It has the same sensor and many of the features as the D500. The only way I will buy used is if it's from B&H Photo and has been refurbished by Nikon and (fingers crossed) I have had no problems with any item bought that way. There were very few shutter counts on the camera and it has worked flawlessly, so far (fingers crossed again). I do wish it had dual memory slots like my D500. 5 |

Sadly Nikon did not keep the wireless remote sensor on their D3100 model so I was forced to use a USB compatible model. The Vello model has been the perfect addition to serve my needs. Unfortunately mine did break where it plugs into the camera, ...I really think I just happened to get a bad model and since I really liked the features of this remote shutter release will be exchanging my broken one with the same model.
