I have used these on my last three cameras, much more comfortable than the ones provided with the camera. One side has a non slip surface that works well. 5 |

Helps block out light from the side that would interfere with your view through the lens. Can be rotated to adapt to your camera's orientation. 5 |

Nice camera. I had an older camera that did not have a view finder. Taking pictures out side was impossible. But this camera has the viewfinder and take great pictures inside or out. I also have an older Alpha camera. Boy this a6000 is so much lighter but with some adapters, the same equipment works on both. Saves me money instead of having to start from scratch again. I always recommend SONY cameras, I had them for years and always get a good bit of work out of them. 5 |

I needed a way to mount my GoPro camera off to the side of my kayak to give a different view when I'm fishing. The mount fits a GoPro perfectly on the camera end and all you need is handle or dowel of some sort to fit the other end. One quick trip to the Home Depot solved that problem, the dowel I found was just the right size. I painted and shellacked the dowel and fitted it to the camera mount and I was in business. Be aware that you'll need a RAM base or some other kind of base for the non-camera end. Tested it out in my sideyard, works good and will get it out on the lake soon. B&H is the fastest shipping I know of. Rate them and this product very highly. 5 |

The new camera came as a bundle with an ethernet cable made up. I was adding a doorbell camera and another view of the side of the house, so I had two extra ethernet cables already pulled, and did not use the new one. The camera looks different than my existing, which are a few years old, but mounted easily. I made up the ends of the two cables I was now placing cameras on, and both the relocated and the new camera came up right away on my monitor. No issues! 5 |

I use Canon cameras and needed a backup camera, but I also wanted a second lens that was versatile ... well, this option was the one that best suited me and I am very happy with the choice. Not to mention saving money. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have about 4 of these cameras up now and let me tell you, they do not disappoint. The camera that you get is only as good as the app that you view them through and again, no regrets. I have had a couple of off brand cameras and I could get them to work, eventually, but these are super easy to setup and the app has never crashed. Cloud backup means that if there is an incedent and they take or destroy the cameras, you still have them on video. I highly recommend these. 5 |

As far as studio cameras go, this camera is in a totally different league. Picture quality is outstanding. That is what it is designed for, and that is what it does better than other cameras I have used - from picture quality and ease of handling. I have (and have used) Leaf backs for Hasselblad-V and Leaf Afi (Rolleiflex HY6) cameras and Hasselblad H4d-60. I have not used the current generation Phase One cameras and backs so I cannot compare it to them. I generally use it in live view composing and focusing looking through the back. Pretty much the way I shot studio work back in the 60's with 4x5 and 8x10. I wish the LCD on the back titled (although you can always tether it for viewing and capturing - I generally don't bother). Live view goes thru batteries quickly, so have 3 or 4 and keep one on the charger. For long sessions I use the AC power supply from the H4D-60. I have used almost all of their lenses and have no complaints. (I did have an iris problem on a 100mm lens I originally bought used, and it required a whole shutter replacement -$1800, but it is now basically a new lens). The autofocus is slow and deliberate - it is not suited for action shooting unless your focus point is in the center of the frame. I use it with the focus assigned to a back button so I can focus and compose separately. In the studio I generally use live view and focus manually. It is NOT a camera that can do anything (why would you want to use this for video?) - but it does take pictures of a quality that is stunning. (I bough mine used from a landscape photographer who was moving on to other things). 5 |
