Wireless Go Microphone Reviews

I have a RØDE Wireless Go (wireless microphone) that I use with my iPhone, iPad, DJI Osmo Pocket, and Nikon Z6 camera. As versatile as it is, I also wanted to be able to use it with my RØDECaster Pro and my Zoom H6, both of which have XLR jacks to record individual audio tracks. That’s where this RØDE VXLR+ comes in — it just allows me to connect a mic with a TRS jack to an XLR input. It’s basic, and it works. RØDE makes great products, including this one.

There is not a lot to this, but there does not need to be. This makes it easy to use the Wireless GO as an interview-style microphone.

Great to use with WIRELESS GO.

Despite other reviews that say that it won't connect pin mics, this is exactly (and only) what I use it for - to connect pin mics into my Rode wireless Go II system.

I recently purchased the RODE Wireless Go II microphone system for my trip to Israel. I recorded 20 hours of footage using the RODE wireless mic system and my iPhone, the results were amazing. The battery life of the mics lasted all day, the audio was crisp and clear at various distances. I highly recommend this easy plug in and go system for your next shoot.

I put this cable in the pouch with my new Rode Wireless Go microphone. Now I can use the microphone with my Canon M-50 or iPhone 8+. Works great.

I don't know much about this stuff but I record video on my iphone using the Rode Wireless Go and Rode Lavalier Go and my microphone would blow out sometimes when I talked louder. The rep at BH said this could fix that and give me slightly better sound quality. It seems to be doing exactly that as my mic isn't blowing out as hard as before.

This a very important cable in that it is necessary to input sound to a later generation iPhone (as the one included with the Wireless GO microphone system does not work for this purpose). I had to pay an extra $19 to get the right cable.

Really nice adapter for mounting my Rode Wireless Go 2 microphone on. It hides it perfect in the shots outdoors with good light. I noticed sometimes indoors it doesn't always hide it but I think that's due to the lighting conditions indoors versus bright outside shots.

Works perfect with the with Rode Wireless GO wireless transmitter/receiver. I work in a loud-ish factory floor and need the microphone as close to my mouth as possible. Even a normal lavalier picks up way too much noise. This still picks up the alarms and beeps on the factory floor, but as long as I don't turn up the microphone boost, it's acceptable. I can place Microsoft teams calls and cell calls and come out loud and clear. The Rode Wireless GO doesn't have a locking connector, just a normal 3.5mm plug. I though I might need an adapter, but no adapter needed. The mic just plugs right in. It stays in nice and tight and doesn't come out by accident. When I move around, I don't hear and pops or dings on the mic like you have with some other systems that don't have locking connector. So this works really well with the Rode Wireless Go. Cheapest option as well, $100 or so for the mic and $250 or so for the Rode Wireless Go, compare that easily to a thousand dollar Shure setup. And it sounds great! I paired this with Apple Airpod's pro 2, and with the Airpod's noise cancelling earbuds, I can hear and be heard while on the factory floor. This setup works much better for me than the 3M LiteCom PRO 3 Safety Ear Muffs which costs $1,400 which I had been using before.
