Wireless Guitar Headphone System

I got this headphone system for practicing guitar. The sound quality is excellent and the ability to use different cables when using the metronome or the guitar amplifier makes this set a great tool. The comfort is what I expected. After a couple of minutes it seems that I am not wearing them which is great because I can concentrate on practicing. 5 |

I purchased the Xvive wireless guitar system based on a number of positive YouTube reviews. I figured for the price that it would be worth it if I could get it to work. I first tried it by inserting the transmitter into my PRS and the received into my Mesa Boogie amp directly. Worked perfectly. I didn't mess around with selecting a channel so I suppose it just worked with the default selection. I next plugged the receiver into an overdrive pedal and the pedal was plugged in with a cable to the amp. Again it worked like a charm and there was no noticeable difference compared to using the pedal and amp with a cable. Later on I did play around with selecting a different channel on the transmitter. It takes a little getting used to, but the device beeps the 1-4 times depending on what channel it's on. You have to set the receiver to the same channel to get the system to work. There is no light to tell you that the two are on the same channel so you just have to keep pressing the channel button to get them to sync. Anyway, if you don't have a second guitar using the same wireless system it's best just to leave it in channel 1 and leave it alone. It will work well. While playing I moved around the house and it definitely has great range. It was fun moving into different parts of the house without worrying about getting tangled up in a long guitar cable. 5 |

This is my first bone conducting headphone purchase. The AfterShokz OpenMove Wireless Bone Conducting Headphone is light weight and actually stays in place while I exercise. My initial concern was that it might give me a headache from nesting against my ear but it turns out I often forget that I have them on me. The noise canceling feature during phone calls work very well plus the sound quality is great for what I'm using it for. I'm happy with my purchase. 5 |

I own a half dozen K&M guitar stands. I think they're the best in the business. I browsed through their other products and found their headphone holders which I have a use for. I considered the table clamp version which is a lot more money than I wanted to spend (it can mount to a vertical or horizontal surface). I have a similar product made by Sennheiser but the K&M has it beat by a mile. I went with this version as I decided to attach it to my (Inter)Metro rack--it fits perfectly. I use this for full size headphones and earbuds as well as audio cables. I just checked the B+H site and see they now have a brand new model that is only for horizontal surfaces. I'll be picking one of those up too as soon as they come into stock. 5 |

I play on my guitar but I'll never have a call to get in a band - I'm terrible. At least it's only me who can listen to it. For the Yamaha headphone? It's great. I've also listened to some old albums with them. Go ahead, buy them. 5 |

I have a headphone amp that plugs into my guitar so I can stroll around my apartment playing, without bothering the neighbors. Now that I have added the Tone:Link I can stream music and play along as I stroll. The back and forth buttons, pause button, and volume control are all I need. And it is smaller than a matchbox. 5 |

this is the best bang for buck headphone amp. i use it to monitor and record guitar music with a lot of distortion, and effects as well as clean passages . i can hear a lot of the high order harmonics dissapear when i use a cheaper lower qaulity unit that was only a few dollars less. with the rolls ha43 all those highlights and overtones are there again just exactly as direct. i also have a foam head with high end microphones implanted and i record the headphone sound and mix that in .this also allows me to increase my output volume on my guitar proccessor to direct record through d.i. boxes with 4x12 speaker emulation to get a cleaner input to the recorder and increases the power tube amp effect without blowing another set of expensive headphones . i give silent mini concerts with these in places i cant use my wall of amps. they get a real feel for the music rather than through portable device that cant compare.great way to turn on people/ really connect to your music. 5 |
