I do wedding videography. During a ceremony, I have an audio recorder hooked to the DJ board, a Sony wireless lav on the groom, and THIS device on the groom. The audio quality of this device blows them all away. I am considering buying a second one and ditching my Sony wireless lav altogether. 5 |

During the day, I work in a cubical surrounded by other cubicals. With these headphones on, the only way I know my phone is ringing is because it has a red flashing light. Needless to say, these are GREAT at blocking out ambient noise. The sound reproduction is accurate and the sound stage is good - especially considering the price. The bass does not hit as hard as some of the semi-closed headphones, but it is responsive. These headphones are durable and comfortable. I can wear them for hours when I'm editing video. All in all, if you are on a budget but want great sounding headphones, I would recommend these. 5 |

During a week long shoot my producer had headphones on listening to the talent and himself doing some Q&A, he was so impressed with the warm rich sound and the audio quality of this mic that he is ordering one for himself. That says it all. I upgraded from the NTG2 and really like this mic even more. Not powered but most audio techs are going to prefer their pre amps anyway. 5 |
