When I got this scanner I thought it was going to be another gadget that would be difficult in setting it up and getting it started. Thankfully, it turns out I was wrong. I’m truly impressed and really excited. Setting it up was a breeze. Just select the mode ( USB, WiFi,or Direct) to connect to your wireless network. From your tablet, computer or smartphone use the app to configure and use the scanner. It can be used wired or wireless. It had all the cables and power supply needed to get it done quick. It’s portable, lightweight and like I said quick set up. It has a battery built in. Once I had everything set up, it was time to start scanning. Scanning is what I did. This little machine is great. Quickly scanning in color or black/white. It can do 2sided as well. I also was sending some of the files to my smartphone and some to just save on computer. You can truly do it all. Time saving! You can even scan business cards, without causing the cards to bend or get stuck. The scans are clear. You can read the little print from gas receipts, etc. Able to save files in searchable files for a later date. In the end this scanner is definitely worth it. I'm using this with a DJI Mic Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder for Camera & Smartphone. They work great together.

A crucial adapter for using the RODE GO Wireless Mic with your smartphone! I wish RODE would have included with purchase or made it clearer in the instructions that it's necessary.

For some reason, I brought a TRRS male to TRS male cable with mic (primary used for old Sennheiser HD485), and I saw this headphones in BH store, and tried it with the cable I brought, and I was surprised how good the sound even with a smartphone (I tested with few YouTube music videos). After I tried with few YouTube music videos, the store started to close, and OK, go for it and I was the last customer left with this HUGE headphones. I put it on when riding train. Sensitivity is actually enough for both music and phone call, but due to the size, it's recommended to listen it at home or office (this headphones is pretty comfortable for extended phone talking with boom mic). After I got in my friend's home, I spent a lot of time to listen to some local music made from CD in FLAC format, and I am blown away how good the sound is (it has a lot of bass but it's not muddy at all) and I like it more than Sennheiser HD598 and ESP500. I planned to buy Sennheiser HD600, but I worry sensitivity is too low for smartphone. The phone is capable with 32bit/192kHz with PowerAmp. Open Air design can let me hear anything around me. Get additional cable with TRRS male to TRS male with mic (or boom mic) and have fun with your smartphone or tablet.

I purchaased these headphones as a replacement to a pair I lost. The sound was really good for a pair under $. Although I never used them with my smartphone, it does have a Sony Smartkey App so you can control your Android phone. I couls have spent mush more, but these deliver all the bass response, mids and clear highs I need. The sound is superb.

Originally had bought a right-angle-to-right-angle cable to connect my smartphone to my FX3, but then that cable was getting in the way of the headphones port on the FX3 body, so this new cable was able to connect on the camera side without getting in the way of that. Useful!
