Wireless Keyboard With Cherry Switches

This is my third Das Keyboard product. Lost the first in a fire, and am using the second one on a secondary computer. Bought the Prime 13 for the Cherry brown switches and the keyboard back-lighting. As mechanical keyboards go, I don't think a better one exists. It's not as loud as the Cherry red switches in my old Pro Red model, but I added some MX rubber switch dampeners to make it a little quieter, anyway. It's nearly as quiet as a membrane keyboard now. 5 |

The Das Keyboard 4 Pro (Cherry MX Brown switches) is a sheer pleasure to work with. The weight of the keyboard keeps it stable on the desk, and the feel of the keys is satisfying. The keyboard is far from silent, but that is the nature of mechanical keyboards, and the sound is not outrageously loud. The tactile nature of click-click-click of the volume knob is just fun. 5 |

This keyboard is exactly what I'm looking for. After a couple weeks of use, here are my thoughts: + Cherry switches. Many keyboard manufacturers, Logitech included, are moving to their own mechanical switches so it's refreshing to have the option for the real-Cherry-deal here. +/(-) They're tactile and satisfyingly loud—perfect for at-home work but know what you're getting if you choose Blues before bringing them into the office. +/(-) No software. This is a pro for me—nothing extra to slow my computer down or be asking for updates every other week. But might be a con if you're wanting to program macros or remap keys. + Solid build. Aluminum face and not a lot of excess border around the edges. + Double-shot keys mean they'll never wear the letters/numbers off. I like the font choice for keys, but another commenter said they didn't like it. Personal preference. - Only one cable means there's no pass-through USB port on this build that sometimes comes with keyboards. 5 |

The Cherry MX Brown switches are not noisy and have the right amount of tactile feeling. The build quality of this keyboard is solid and heavy. Mechanical keyboards have the keys higher than normal keyboards and some of the brands include a palm rest in the box. Das Keyboards do not come with it. I purchased a polyurethane palm rest to get the right height. I'd be happy if they included something in the box for raising your palm, other than that it is a great keyboard! 5 |

This keyboard is my first mechanical keyboard. Amazing keyboard, with the Cherry MX Blue switches (there are other kinds as well) giving good feedback and audible click. Would definitely recommend this keyboard! Key puller- make sure you have it gripped on the bottom of the key; not on the side. Pull up straight, not at an angle. Use the 'FN' key to use the functions on the F keys (the top row of keys) B&H Photo Video shipped it kinda slow, but it was the holiday season! 5 |

This is my first mechanical keyboard and it is incredible. Feels very well built, and the MX Cherry Blue switches have that clickity goodness that I wanted. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that struck me was its sleek and stylish design, which looks fantastic on my desk. But beyond aesthetics, the performance is top-notch. The wireless connection is incredibly stable and responsive, even in a busy environment with many devices (I’m looking at you there Apple mouse.) I’ve experienced zero lag or dropouts. The keyboard’s low-profile switches provide a satisfying tactile response, making typing a joy. They’re quieter than traditional mechanical switches too! Battery life is impressive as well. With the Lightsync RGB lighting on, it still lasts for days on a single charge, and it charges quickly when needed. The customizable RGB lighting adds a personal touch, and the Logitech G Hub software makes it easy to customize key bindings and lighting effects. Overall, the Logitech G515 Lightspeed is a fantastic wireless keyboard that combines style, performance, and comfort. Whether you’re a gamer or just need a reliable keyboard for everyday use, this one is definitely worth considering. 5 |

I am a photographer and writer. The Cherry switches make for easy typing with fewer errors. The ten key section makes for quicker photo editing and data entry for bookkeeping. Cherry switches. The build is solid and heavy. Well shaped keys with space between them. Hard wired so it starts immediately and eliminates communication errors. Yes, it's relatively expensive. But if I could have purchased this several years ago, I would not have bought 5 other keyboards that turned out to be unsatisfactory. 5 |

Pros: Cherry SX scissor switches provide 2mm travel, excellent key feel, stability, and tactile feedback, yet are literally silent. Keyboard has a heavy metal backplate so it sits solidly on the desk. Great battery life and range. Battery is removable and replaceable. Cons: Nonstandard charging cable, half-size Esc and F keys. 5 |
