Great coverage everywhere. Mesh units work great, it’s like standing beside your wireless router!

Just added my third Synology Wireless Tri-band Mesh Router to my home network. HINT: Power it up and go into stand-alone mode, update the SRM to the same SRM on your RT6600. Power it back up and add it to your network as a Wi-Fi Point.

Replaced a 6 year old linksys wireless router with this unit. My first time with a mesh system. Setup was very easy. All devices connected quickly. Internet throughput is so much better with this unit. I am using Verizon 5G home internet with this router. Getting nearly 300 mbps download consistently. I get a strong wifi signal all over my house (3300 sq ft) and outside. I am very happy with this unit.

Synology makes setting up this mesh router fairly simple. Power it on next to your router, use the DS router app and you're up and running in about 15 minutes. I have four of them and they are all wired. So make sure you follow the instructions and connect it wirelessly to the router first, then take it where you want on the network and plug it in. The ability to add a dozen of the MR2200's to my router means that I can create a reliable and fast wireless network that rivals my wired network in terms of square footage and then go beyond the building. My wireless devices automatically drop and connect as I move around. I could not be happier with this device because it is reliable and the range meets all my needs. I have no complaints from my network users.

I've gotten this router not only for home but also for the worksite where I work (church). This combined with a mesh system makes for one very powerful and functional wireless network for usage. It is costly but worth every penny compared to all the others out there. Buy or buy not. If you chose not, good luck on your wireless routing. If you choose yes, be prepared to have a very NICE wireless router. And yes, it even comes with all kinds of Unicorn Poop (LEDs) for those who love to have color options too.

Not only does this mesh system SIGNIFICANTLY increase the reach of my wireless access, it was also a really easy set up. By allowing me the flexibility to modify the wireless name and password to the previously established one, all of our devices were online instantly.

As part of my wireless mesh, these little guys are great. They are super easy to deploy as part of Ubiquiti's UniFi lineup, The improvements over my legacy Cisco wireless network were instantaneous and extremely noticeable.

Although B&H listed this on release date as not in stock, and only in limited quantities once it is available. Well, let me tell you I had mine in 3 days after placing the pre-order. Setting the MR2200AC was a breeeze and now I have just 1 SSID for my entire home and yard. The Wi-Fi range is so good, I can go outside and go for about 40 yards before it starts getting weak. This along with the new firmware that updates Synology Router Manager to allow the mesh wireless networking, and a new package that monitors Safe Access for each client are pretty fantastic. Intrusion Protection has also been updated and now it is called Threat Protection. The MR2200AC will do both wireless (5Gig) and wired for the backhaul to the RT2600AC. All management functions of the MR2200AC are done through the RT2600AC, making it very easy to configure and monitor. I highly recommend MR2200AC if you are looking to set up a mesh wireless network. These wireless dual band gigabit mesh access points work great. Roaming the house I never lose signal. Just purchased the third to better cover the wireless flood light cameras outside on the front of our house.
