If you still have the old iPod that is functioning, or maybe a first gen iPad or an older iPod touch, this is the cable that is no longer made by Apple - it just works.

Apple will no longer produce the IPod Touch. I have enjoyed the product through all it's generations. So thankful B&H had available product. 32 gig item. Prompt delivery. Reliable Vendor. Recommend !

Ipod touch is the first Apple product I've owned. The quality of the support people is far above the Windows product representatives I've had the displeasure to try to work with. Consumer Reports say the extended warranty on Apple products, which includes support, is worth the cost. I agree.

If it were desktop computer, I would probably not purchase an extended warranty, but for notebook computers, iPod Touch, flat screen display, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this extended coverage, especially when it's 30% cheaper than MSRP. what bargain! I have owned several PowerBooks/iBooks and have purchased applecare for all of them (in comparison, haven't bought AppleCare for desktop). If you have even one repair on one of these things out of warranty, you will make up your purchase price. and for items that have little ventilation/heat sinking capabilities (laptops, iPod Touch, etc), risk of something going bad within 3years is pretty high. I have had to get my Powerbook repaired three times (bad optical drive, bad keyboard buttons, etc), iBook once (case cracking, dead HDD), iPod Touch twice due to bad battery life and intermittent power, and the display repaired (power mangement unit died). Every time either Apple would repair it, or replace the unit with either new or refurbished unit, no questions asked (unless there is obvious signs of abuse). You can take it to any Apple Store, or call their 1800 number and have them send you a shipping box. Turn around is typically 3-4 days (!!) from the time you call them and have your part back in your hands. Included in the hardware warranty is if you have any Apple OS issues or Apple software install/operation issues during the warranty period, you can get free service via phone to help you fix the problem. Best service ever.

I'm using this with a Macbook Pro (2017). and a Scarlett 2i2 interface, a Zoom microphone, with and ipod also attached, and connected to the ethernet. This is mostly to enable piano lessons with 2 views on Zoom, and also make recordings. It has all I need for this and more . (I'm not using any additional screens). I like the card reader and headphone jack- easy to use. I can't upgrade my OS, but it works fine with High Sierra. The Caldigit gets a bit warm but doesn't overheat. I unplug it when not in use. Altogether very handy and nice to have all my wires more or less connected to one source.

We use this component to connect an iPod to a microphone cable running to a powered speaker. Very handy also for quickly connecting a laptop or tablet to a hotel ballroom sound system. Must-have item for anyone supporting presenters who come up with sudden sound demands that weren't in the work order.

I decided to dispose of my hi fi equipment that I had used for years, CD player, amp, pre-amp, tuner & 2 large speakers in our lounge. I acquired a new iPod touch & discovered I could stream the music wirelessly to any Sonos speaker in the house using our BT wireless router. I downloaded the Sonos software onto my iPod & connected the new Sonos 5 speaker to my wireless network using my laptop, all very simple & straightforwardly, even for me. I could not be more pleased with the result, both for the ease of use & the sound quality. In the future I shall look to acquire further speakers for other rooms in the house, as the system is so easy to use.

One of the best wireless headphones. I've got the apple EarPods and these are way better.
