7.3V and 12V d-tap let me power my camera (7.3V), a led ligth (12V) and a wireless microphone receiver (12V). I use it on a Redrock microPod Accessory Plate (I had to found screws because the supplied ones did not fit). The C70 is a great camera, but like any camera, you need to mount a microphone and/or wireless receiver. With no viewfinder, an external monitor sure is nice, too. This has the right points to do all of that without having to put an entire cage on the camera. I have a Wooden Camera handle that has the grooves at the mount point, for more mounting options. The angled cold shoe is great for using the stock C70 mic mount, too, because it places it lower. 5 |
