I take a lot of video of high school marching bands with my Canon HF20 HD video camera and from the stands the sound usually has a lot of fan noise especially when I use a wide angle lens to get more of the field in view. This microphone picked up all of the sounds of the band from well over 100 feet away and reduced unwanted sounds to a pretty acceptable level. I do this for fun and to build video shows for the kids to see. The combination of great sound with HD quality video makes for a great show. yep, a bit pricy but if better audio (on a Canon video camera with the mini advanced accessory shoe) is what you're looking for it's a great product and very easy to use. The only knock is that from what I can see you can only use the microphone with a mini advanced accessory shoe kind of limiting future uses - if I had any... 5 |

The Canon 80D video creator package lives up to the hype. The wireless function was a great surprise. You can use your phone, computer or tablet to control the camera, previewing the sensor with live view, selectively focusing with the tap of a finger and zooming in and out when the Canon Power Zoom Adaptor is attached. The OLED screen is a touch screen making entering passcodes easy and scrolling through menus a breeze. It's tilt and swivel ability is extremely useful. And of course, it is Canon quality through and through. The viewfinder shows 100% of the image field greatly assisting composition especially for micro and macro subjects. I love this camera. 5 |

This RC-6 Wireless Remote Control works well with my CANON XC15 Video Camera, but only for taking pictures. If you have your XC15 Camera set to Video Mode it will take a picture instead of starting a video recording.
