Wireless Microphone For Wedding Ceremony

I am a wedding videographer, in most cases just need 30-60 minutes of audio from ceremony. Wireless lav setups are so expensive and for the limited use I get out of it, just seemed unreasonable. Love this setup as it records directly to the device on an sd card, no set up to fuss with just mic up and start recording. The lav sounds great, but if I ever needed to upgrade I still have the option.

I do wedding videography. During a ceremony, I have an audio recorder hooked to the DJ board, a Sony wireless lav on the groom, and THIS device on the groom. The audio quality of this device blows them all away. I am considering buying a second one and ditching my Sony wireless lav altogether.

I used this mic to record a wedding ceremony. I was at least 30 feet away, the acoustics were bad, and I was still able to pick up the bride and groom. I'm impressed.

Very heavy, lol. Sharp and fast focus, great wedding ceremony and portrait lens. A great medium to the 70-200 2.8.

I've used this unit on a handful of wedding ceremony gigs, all of which were outdoors. One of the gigs was incredibly windy. The lapel mic picked up wind noise (even with the wind guard) while the handheld mic had virtually no noise. However, the noise was completely tolerable given the situation. This unit is very easy to set up/sync. I've not had any issues with connectivity, signal or going out of range. Hopefully, this will remain the case going forward!

I was able to record an entire wedding (ceremony, 4 hours of reception) with plenty of time remaining on the battery.

I use it for wedding videography. This is my main audio recorder for Ceremony and Receptions. It has a nice Line In perfect for hooking up with the DJ mixer. The front knobs may look and feel cheap but they work as needed. I do not need to add additional padding to lower the amped audio. I also power it with a external usb battery (Sharkkk)
