The Polsen XP-2 2-Channel Microphone Signal Booster is not something I realized I needed until I started using it. I am using it to boost the signal on my desk microphone and it's connected through my Senal USB adapter which provides the phantom power. It can add up to 25db of clean gain which is impressive. I didn't realize the difference this would make until I actually hooked it up and started using it daily. I no longer have to be right up on my microphone to get a reasonable signal output. The other application I tried this out with was some interviews I recently shot where the interview subject was soft-spoken. Being able to get that extra gain really came in handy. I like that the xlr has locking connectors and that this is plug-and-play. It's made of all metal and feels rugged so it should hold up to some punishment over time. It works great, now the only issue is I have to buy another to match my other setup. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5 |

This shock mount easily holds my rather heavy cube microphone. I have been using a MXL shockmount for it and it was fine but no replacement bands are available for it. It is also twice the price of this unit. Although this one is a little bulkier, it will perform as well and is very economical. No complaints! Plus replacement bands are made and offered for sale for it and I purchased a pair just for good measure at the same time so it's a win-win. 5 |

I prefer the e835 over the Shure sm58 both in sound and value. Especially at $15 less per microphone with this 3 pack. I've even converted two of my local bands over to e835 for their live performances based on audience feedback, specifically the vocals in a male rock bands. I primarily use this microphones for podcasts and panel setups. I'm sure I'm be buying more again soon for more clients. 5 |

I have the older version of this microphone with the rubber band shock mounts, the bands dry up and rot out after about a week. This new mount is awesome! I have always loved the microphone for the price. 5 |

I'm working on a documentary film (my first) and to save money, I tried using a Zoom H1 with a Kel-Tec fuzzy windscreen to record audio for my film. Unfortunately in all but the lightest air the wind sound was disconcertingly loud. This is not the fault of the devices used--they simply are not meant to counter substantial wind. I finally had to raise the funds to purchase a good shotgun microphone, pre-amp, and this blimp, to get the results I was after. I am completely satisfied with the Rode Blimp. The B&H Signature edition is a nice black color, which looks even better than the original. The blimp is sturdy, simple, and effective. Rode thoughtfully provides a few different sizes of microphone holder, some extra rubber bands, an adjustment tool, a dead Wombat faux-fur cover, and a brush. I was even able to use a rather thick condenser microphone by jury-rigging the rubber bands. This worked quite well, allowing me to record environmental sounds. One of the best purchases I've made. 5 |

I can't say enough positive things about the Hello Wireless ShutterBoss 4.0. The wireless signal is strong even in my studio with a ton of potential wireless interference. The LCD display is large and very easy to read. The backlight (although green) makes it easy to read the display in near dark conditions. I love the ease of use however I do which that in order to trigger a long exposure on my Canon EOS-R I didn't have to change my camera from Manual to Bulb. However this is not a major problem at all. I was able to get it out of the box and fully understood in less than 5 minutes. [I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion]. 5 |
