Wireless Printer Software

I worried I would have difficulty setting up the printer as we aren't wireless here. Step 6, "Install Software," provided the website to download the current software/drivers from to my computer and I followed the online directions. Snap. A word to the wise: BEFORE doing any setup, look for the Serial Number on the printer and take a picture of it. I found it on the bottom of the printer. Once you fill the ink, you can't tip the copier to find it! I suggest a copy as you will have a ready reference anytime you need that serial number (or any other product info). We didn't and my husband had to hold the printer while I got under it to take a photo. I gave 4 stars on quality only because the power plug seemed to pop out too easily. I had my husband push it in and I think we're good now. If not, a little Gorilla tape should do it!

This is a review for the ES-300W Wireless Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I have two other Epson scanners, one of which I have had for over 10 years now and the other for 5 years and both still work excellent! So being asked to review a new, portable Epson scanner was a no brainer for me. First off, the size, including the battery is quite small at 11½ x 3½ x 3 inches. Sliding the grey lever on the front opens up the sheet feeder which can handle up to 20 sheets of 2 sided paper, business cards, whatever. The caveat is that it can not be something bound as this is a page scanner. But it's small size hides it's excellent build quality and software and features. Setup is so simple. Plus the scanner into a power outlet for both power and to charge the battery. Run the software and follow the extremely simple and easy to understand set up instructions. You can set this up to scan via a usb cable, direct wireless or put it on your wireless network. I chose the wireless network and it programs via the WPS button on your Wireless Router. It's disgustingly simple and fast and easy. Once it's charged, unplug from the cord if you need to and place where it's convenient and start scanning. Open the software, set your resolution (I prefer 300 psi) and place what you want to scan in the tray. I thought wrong that to scan the back, I'd have to put my paper back in the tray, but to my surprise it scans both sides at the same time and very quickly and accurately at that. I highly recommend this scanner. It's easy to use, fast and accurate. I scan multiple papers multiple times per week and this scanner is so much more convenient, handier adn faster and scans duplex on one pass vs my other two scanners. It's easrned a place on my desk. You'll LOVE it!

The printer is doing everything we wanted it to. The wireless is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up the printer was easy and I had no trouble. The print quality is the best I have used in a Laser Printer. The paper feeder works perfectly with no jams. Scanning is simple and easy to do. It printed perfectly. The software set up was also easy. There is a link that I entered in the browser and clicked continue. From there the wizard detected the printer installed the software and printed a test page. Set up went fast with no problems. I was printing in a very short time after setting it up. The design is very attractive and does not take up a lot of space. It has 2 hand holds on each side for easy moving. Print speed is fast with either color or black and white and prints up to 17 pages per minute. it can print on many sizes of paper, including photo paper. I downloaded the HP App to my phone and am able to print pictures and documents directly from my iPhone. It takes 4 toner cartridges which are easy to get to and replace. They will print on approx. 850 pages and 1050 in black and white. The cartridges included with the printer will print less. Paper goes in a tray on the bottom which slides out and very easy to get to in the front. I have printed many pictures and documents and they come out looking perfect. I am completely satisfied with the HP Color LaserJet MFP M182nw Printer and highly recommend it.

If you have a Canon Printer these produce outstanding results as profiles are in software.
