Wireless Remote Control Security Camera

I’ve used this remote both as a wireless remote shutter control in my camera’s hot show, and also as a wired shutter control. In both scenarios it works great, allowing me to activate the autofocus and the shutter without the camera shake that I would get from having my hands on the camera body. I highly recommend this for any type of shoot where sensitivity to camera shake is an issue.

I use this remote control with my D7000. I had a third-party wireless control, but it required a receiver to be plugged into a socket on the left side of the camera. That didn't work out well when using a tripod with camera mounted vertically. This remote solves that problem. Would prefer radio to infrared, but this works well for my needs.

This wireless remote control for Neewer speedlights shares the same capability of pricier systems. Easy to set up and use, it works well with in camera sensor iTTL metering. Much more reliable radio remote control than optical systems such as older Nikon speedlights. It will read zoom lens settings and send the data to all of your slave strobes. Neat to hear all of them remotely respond to your lens! But one caveat. Out of the box my QPRO-N was ignoring in camera compensation settings! I emailed Neewer and they sent me the latest firmware update which wasn't even on their website. Worked like a charm. Thus, they earned a full five stars.

I use this wireless remote to control my Sony HDR-CX675 for filming my wood shop projects. Now I only touch the camera to reposition it or to upload vids or stills. The remote behaves as described - 2 speed zoom in/out, start/stop recording, still photo snaps, and camera power on /off. Only downside is the receiver does not fit into the recessed hot shoe (receiver doesn't need hot). I recommend this! -Mike

This RC-6 Wireless Remote Control works well with my CANON XC15 Video Camera, but only for taking pictures. If you have your XC15 Camera set to Video Mode it will take a picture instead of starting a video recording. On a special note, it works from behind the camera if you are within 2 feet and have a fresh battery installed.

I've only used this once so far, and I love it. It's nice to take control using the wireless remote and not having to set the timer on the camera and run and get in the pictures. This works great. I love how compact it is and it comes in a case.

With all my cameras, I have always had a remote control, However this is my first wireless one and I could not be more pleased. Being wireless offers more flexibility as far as distance from the camera and ease of use (not being limited by the length of the cable). Plus it comes with a little case that attaches to the carrying strap of the camera making it convenient to access when necessary. Compact, wireless and easy to use - what more would a person want - and at a very reasonable price!

I've carried a Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote Control for years. It's very small and light (key chain size) and has a little case that attaches to most camera straps. That is how I carry it, always conveniently with my camera. As a landscape photographer it particularly comes in handy when the temperatures are very cold, making wires very brittle and the wired remotes subject to breaking. I use this remote to photograph the aurora when the temperatures can be well below zero. (bur bring a couple of extra batteries) Extremely useful!

The Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control works flawlessly with both the front and rear IR receiver on my Nikon D3200. The remote wirelessly triggers the shutter from a good distance without issue. I love using it for my family photos - having to use a timer and run into the frame is a pain. No need with the ML-L3 remote because it's small, fits perfectly in your hand, and can trigger the shutter without being visible in the shot.
