Wireless Router 5G Vs 2.4 G

The router works well, it allows me to separate devices onto the 5G network, avoiding the cluttered 2.4G network. A great improvement over the service provider router that I gladly returned.

Ease of set up, Range, User Interface, Compatibility with old/new devices, switch from 2.4/5G. This setup has it all. Best experience I have ever had with a WiFi system.

Just what I needed. Several times a day I was having wifi drop outs with my current router. I was first using the wifi built into the modem from the cable company. Then added an older AC router as a repeater. Still had issues. But this new mesh style router fixed it all. No more drop outs. The only thing I wish I could do is dedicate the 5G band. I would like to only have the 5G connecting to my TV. But with this router, it automatically switches between the 2.4/5 bands as needed. And finally, the installation and setup was effortless. So simple. I've been a fan of TP-Link for some time. And this just keeps me coming back.

Match it with a Netgear router and experience true 5G. Easy to install. Excellent suppport in the phone and they speak English!

Huge upgrade over my previous router which was a Netgear XR1000. The two 5G bands are a game changer. There are also no longer any dead zones in my house. Just fyi, this is a beast of a router in size as well. So make sure you have adequate space wherever you intend on placing it.

When I got a new router that supports Wi-Fi 6 I discovered both that the 5Ghz wi-fi band is capable of much higher bandwidth than 2.4Ghz and that my computer only supported the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi frequency. So this adapter not only gives my computer the ability to connect via 5Ghz it also supports Wi-Fi 6 so my Wi-Fi connection is now much faster. Zoom sessions are now stable and free of glitches.

Purchased this to allow for split 2.4 and 5.0 networks. That worked great and I got noticeable faster speeds over my Spectrum router. - 800 vs 400. Very easy to set up. Took no longer than 10 minutes and was able to name the router and keep the same password so I did not have to go in and relink all of the connected devices in my house. All automatically reconnected. Highly recommend.

The combo router and modem works great with the option of 2.4 or 5 ghz internet. Great purchase

Excellent router: Initially had some minor hiccups on 2.4 ghz connections randomly dying, which got resolved via firmware updates. Synology will make this router even better with time i'm sure. Performance and Capabilities of this router are excellent. 5.9 Ghz is a bonus! Looking to buy even more of these to mesh with each other!
