Wireless Router Channel Interference

I have been looking to replace my wireless gateway from Comcast for a while now. Recently some new products such as the Google Home caught my attention since they had multiple access points that are placed around your house. This setup has been used in enterprise for years. The only downfall which made me stay away was the lack of customization and advanced features. Using the Synology Router has been like no other. The user interface is the best I have every used, there are so many features and add-ons, I have yet to use them all. Some key points of the router is the 802.11ac antennas, they also operate at a newer channel so currently I am the only one in my apartment complex to be on this channel. The add-ons that are built into the router are pretty useful, my favorite is intrustion prevention since it will monitor network traffic and alert and or block traffic is reconginizes as being harmful. Overal I love this router, many of the issues I had with the range and connectivity on my old gateway have been resolved with this new router. I will continue to purchase their routers in the future. #sweepstakes

I have 6 of these units deployed around our campus and 4 more on the way. They work very well and have eliminated the interference we were receiving with our old system. The mics themselves sound great for what we need and have very good gain before feedback. The only issue I had, and this was a learning experience on my part, was that a particular belt pack will only work with the receiver it is "paired" to, regardless of whether you have it set to the same channel on multiple receivers. Also, if you have multiple mics for a particular room all set for the same channel (several faculty members like having their own mic), the receiver will only recognize the last mic paired on that channel. So if you are in that situation, set each mic for a different channel and pair it to that receiver. Whenever an instructor comes into a room and turns their mic on, the system will recognize it. The nice thing with that is, if someone else brings a mic paired to the receiver into the room and turns it on, the system will not connect to it and there is no interference with the mic currently in use. The option to remote mount the antenna module is also nice. I thought we were going to need to make use of that feature in our theater, however, the mics perform flawlessly with everything rack mounted in the balcony (about 80 feet from the stage). My only other issue is battery life. These things use a lot of power, so purchase a set of rechargeable AA batteries for each mic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried multiple antennas and always had channel interference but this one is a great product picks about 100 plus channels in my area and high quality couldn't have been happier. Its very aesthetically designed and looks a great addition to the decor, comes with all the required attachments and coax cable. Its a multi directional capable eliminating the need to point it in a particular direction. All in all a great buy.

I own 1st version of this Rode Wireless and I film a lot to my Youtube Channel. But it was not enough for interview. Now there are totally new approach to it. Love it - Record channel separately for each transmitter and as a result two channel for each person - markers which you can match for perfect lip-sync with ability to put it manually - backup channel with 20DB less level in case of recording in wind (my case) Thank you for so professional system!

This product is awesome and has protected my modem, router and computer from interference, whenever we experience a temporary or extended blackouts.

Great backup in case of wireless interference or failure. Sound quality it great.

Great Wireless remote control and channel programming

This wireless system is an awesome one. There is no noise or interference with other wireless systems within its proximity. It is very suitable for small settings like small places of worship.

We were getting all sorts of interference with our 10-year old A/T wireless mics. With this digital system, we haven't had a bit of dropouts, even with the receivers not being line of sight. The mics sound good. Clear as a bell.
