Wireless Router For Broadband Internet

I was replacing a 15 year old Netgear Firewall Router which had capped my broadband throughput at only 60MBps. With this router installed, I'm getting the full 200+ MBps that I'm paying for to my ISP. The setup is a bit complicated if you're not used to fiddling with router settings. There is a wizard with some non-intuitive presets to help with setup as there are many different options for how the router functions. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the speed, and the relatively low cost.

I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs.

I use this to provide backup power for my satellite internet, wireless router and VOIP phone system. Occasionally, it also powers my laptop and external LCD. Works great and has more than ample reserves. Functions out of the box with Apple Macs and seemlessly integrates with Energy Saver in OS X via the included USB cable. No Cons so far.

I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to.

I recently bought a dual band router from B&H but wasn't getting the internet speeds I had expected. I checked the built in wireless card on my laptop and discovered that is was a single band card. I found this dual band adapter at B&H and decided to order one. I ordered it Tuesday and it arrived today. With WIN 10 and using a USB 3.0 port, it was as simple as plug and play. I am now getting 3 times faster internet speeds and am very pleased with this device. The price is great as was the free shipping. I would definitely recommend this device for a home wireless network.

I replace my Cox cable modem and wireless router with Netgear. The signal strength throughout my 2200 sqft house is great. I can even connect my outdoor TV to the internet now. I get the same speed on wireless as I do with the computer plugged into the internet. Great products.

I was having issues with my smart devices and streaming HDTV. My wireless system was only giving me about 100 Mbps even though my cable internet was 800 Mbps. I looked into buying faster internet and discovered if I I wanted the cable company’s top speed of 1.2 Gbps, I needed a new modem. I purchased the latest and greatest cable modem, which was one model newer and capable of 2.5 Gbps. My internet speed didn’t get better. So, I decided to replace my wireless router. I researched the wireless routers available. The three key areas I concentrated on were the WAN connection speed, coverage and wireless specifications included. The ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 was the best in all three categories and the only router I found that had all three top of the line specifications. WAN - 2.5 Gbps Wireless - WiFi 6E Home Coverage - One router and one node replaced one router and five nodes. My coverage is better with less nodes. All my smart devices and my streaming HDTV are working great and I’m getting 950 Mbps internet speed. Smartest upgrade I’ve made.

Perfect for people anyone who need landline and already have broadband internet. The setup is simple and saves ton of money for the similar kind of service. With E911 it is no brainer. It needs reliable internet and power supply.

We use this product to house a broadband internet that we ship all over the country. The case in indestructible thus protecting anything we put in it. I wouldn't recommended any other case!

I will start by saying that my ISP is Vyve Broadband. I carried my rented cable modem along with my new Netgear DOCSIS 3.1 High Speed 32x8 Cable Modem (CM1000) out to the local Vyve Broadband office. They pulled up my account and removed the rented cable modem, the added my Netgear cable modem information that is required for activation. I changed my internet service to the 200 Mbps plan. After returning home I hooked up my new Netgear CM1000 cable modem, the cable to its input and a short CAT6 cable from the WAN connection to my Netgear router WAN port. I powered on the devices and the modem and router went to work, with various lights blinking. It took only about 5 minutes and the cable modem had set itself up completely and with the Netgear router. I logged in to the cable modem to have a look at the stats. I then went to a speed test sight which showed that my download was 211 Mbps and upload 20 Mbps. All of my PCs, router, switch and access point connect at 1000 Mbps instead of the 100 Mbps that it used to. Am I satisfied and happy with this purchase??? You better believe it.
