Wireless Router With Remote Antenna

I needed a remote antenna for my wireless microphones.� This cable allowed me to make that happen.� Good quality cable.

I use this all the time and it really helps get sharper pictures. I also own the Canon corded remote shutter release and it's a cheap peace of plastic compared to the Vello Wireless remote. One of the features I really like is this can also be used as a corded remote if you don't need to be far from the camera and you don't want to use your batteries. This is also a great backup if your batteries wear out, although the batteries seem to last forever. No battery power is used in corded mode. Half-shutter-press works well as does burst. This is my second one, having lost part of my first one last summer at a bird photography class. I've used this near my house in the winter to shoot birds while sitting inside with the wireless remote, which worked flawlessly. You can only go 10 ft or so without extending the antenna on the remote, but with the small antenna extended you can go forever. Another great use for the wireless remote is self portraits or group portraits. Put the wireless transmitter in your pocket, stand with the group and look at the camera, tell a joke, and when everyone smiles just push the shutter.

I own several different remote shutter release but at last the FreeWave Plus is the last and only one I will ever need. Not only does it allow wireless shutter release but I can auto focus first and then release the shutter. I have single and multi shutter capability, four second delay function, multi-exposure and long exposure modes. Other similar units have an external antenna but this unit has a built in antenna.

The FreeWave wireless remote shutter is an alternate to Nikon's own offerings and FreeWave's option is something like $150 LESS EXPENSIVE, so this shoutd be an obvious choice. I find that the remote trigger is 100% reliable only if I extend its included antenna. Without the antenna extended, reliability suffers as the distance from your camera increases. The receiver part of the trigger that connects to your camera also has a trigger button on it, to use when you are near your camera but wish to press your shutter without creating camera vibration. The included batteries seem like they will last a few years, so not worried about it being ready when I need it.

Broke the telescoping antenna of my old remote and its range went to below 20 ft, Purchased the Wireless Shutterboss II with a built in antenna. It has a range of 200 ft. and the complete control of the original wired ShutterBoss. Great range and features for the price, and no more exposed antenna. Vello also has a good video on how to use it.

Great antenna work superb on my tv furthest away from the router.

My company only uses PRO X cases and its perfect for 4 wireless microphones, Wireless Antenna Disto and a Furman Power Conditioner. The drawer has plenty of space for mics and cables!

Have had the TV for 2 weeks and like it and the remote. Works great for TV over the antenna and online. Remote is small but makes all connections work well—so Easy to use.
