Wireless Security Camera Clearance Sale

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got mine during a clearance sale. It was very much worth the price I got it for. Good functionality to store things while traveling, very easy to access and overall just a clean appearance! 5 |

The wireless remote works good with my Canon camera. The remote was on sale at a good price. 5 |

I needed to connect an outdoor wireless security camera to Wifi but the signal on the main router wasn't strong enough to penetrate a thick masonry wall. The TP-link solved this problem. I set it up inside at the wall needing signal penetration but in line with the router. It worked perfectly - having a booster closer to the camera did the trick. 5 |

I decided to get this bag because of Porta Brace's outstanding reputation and the fact that it's a near-perfect fit for the HM170, although it would also fit other smallish camcorders. The inside of the bag is burnt orange with a tight black document pocket on one side. It comes with a velcro divider. With the HM170 in the bag there's about 3-4 inches of clearance in front of the camera, assuming you push the camera all the way to one side. There's probably 1-2 inches of clearance on the sides of the camera. These measurements were taken with the lens hood and microphone mounted. (See attached photo) I would say there's enough room for the camera, power supply, a few batteries, and some small items but not much else. All in all, an excellent bag that will stand the rigors of the field. 5 |

This is paramount in locations where the eve may extend lower. Gives extra clearance for the camera as well as cord management. 5 |

With these extenders it is now possible to use a Canon c100 and c100II on the Ronin-M. Without them, there is not enough clearance on the top to install and balance camera. There is still limited travel, however. Under slung mode on the Ronin works perfectly, over slung works if you fiddle with it. Briefcase mode didn't work at all because of clearance issues. Both cameras eyepieces restrict tilt. The c100 has better clearance than the mark II because of the smaller eyepiece. The Ronin motors did not seem stressed with the heavier camera. I did a 5 hour shoot in a concert setting... this is a much better rig than using a steadicam....by far 5 |

I found the original version of this to be perfectly usable and excellent for the price, back when the Z9 first came out. I just bought another of these L-brackets, based on that experience. I was surprised to discover that there is a new version, and it is better. First, for those who didn't like the original because of the tight fit with the strap lug, the new version has more clearance. Both versions offer the option of sliding the whole unit left, creating nearly an inch of clearance, but doing so does mean that the L is not quite centered in one axis. The new version also includes a handy magnetized way to store the hex key, which seems quite effective. A nice touch. The bottom foot now also has a nice kind of lining not seen in the product pictures. Presumably it is less likely to scratch the camera body. I've never had any L-bracket do that to any of my cameras in the past 30 years, but this one is even less likely to do so. The bracket itself is also very slightly beefier, not that it was a problem to begin with. There is absolutely no issue using the left-side ports with the camera mounted on the bracket. All in all, several minor improvements over an already good product. The revised version gets a full five stars. NB: I have used RRS and Kirk L-brackets for most of my career, but there's no reason whatsoever to spend more than this Leofoto. 5 |

Using these connectors helps with gimbal clearance issues with standard XLRs sticking out of the back of the camera. Best with slender cables. 5 |
