Wireless Speakers For My Macbook

My use case is for work. I have a Macbook Pro and the monitor is used as a second monitor. It provides charging for my notebook, and it allows me to connect peripherals like mouse and keyboard via the back of the monitor. The built in speakers sounds fine, but mostly I listen to spoken words, so I can't attest to how good the speakers are. I don't have a ear for music anyway. I mainly use the extra monitor as space for software development. One drawback is that there's only two USB-A connections in the back. In order to connect additional peripherals, I had to use an extra dongle. Otherwise, the monitor works fine.

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate.  After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot.  This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful.  My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. My daughter wanted wireless headphones for Christmas. I’m picky- use Bose or Apple earbuds only, but I didn’t have the budget for those this time. Well, I read reviews and settled on these, and am completely thrilled!! They are brand new so I can only speak to sound quality right now, but they are phenomenal. I asked her to let me listen and can I just say…SCORE! Great price and the sound is excellent, leaving me feeling that she is missing out on nothing with the smaller budget. I have reviewed exactly one other product in my life, but I am so thrilled! Way to go JBL! While I’m at it, I converted from other wireless speakers to jbl, because their speakers are totally superior! Gave my son one of those for Christmas this year!

My family has now used the Roku TV wireless speaks for a few months on one of our TV’s and we are blown away! The speakers are so easy to set up. Their styling is clean & simple. The sound is AMAZING. Our room is filled with whatever we are listening to: streamed shows, movies, music. We watch and listen to a wide variety of things and across the board, these speakers do not disappoint. The first time we set them up, my wide and I smiled & chuckled at how great the sound quality is. Fast forward to now, they still sound fantastic, we haven’t had to do multiple “re-syncings” like we’ve had to on other wireless products. The only thing I wish is that this product would sync with AppleTV. I would buy them for every TV in our home.

Oh my goodness! My Roku wireless speakers are such a good investment. I have a 2.1 soundbar on another Roku Tv and I prefer the Roku speakers. Music sounds wonderful. I can hear spoken words on the TV so much clearer. I do believe that I will purchase another pair for my other Roku TV as soon as I can save up. I will recommend these speakers to all my family members and friends. Especially my senior citizen friends as our ears don't pick up voices like younger folks.

These Roku Wireless Speakers are awesome. My husband and I are in our early 60’s and it was hard to pick up on dialogue even with a Bose sound bar. We hear everything now with the Roku Speakers and don’t get blasted by loud sounds. I highly recommend them to anyone that has a Roku TV.

My Roku TV’s built in speakers were admittedly a little iffy, but the wireless speakers are awesome! Wish I had gotten them soon. Super easy to set up, and sound great!
