Wireless Surround Sound Receiver

I bought this instead of a new receiver to have my surround sound back. Easy to set up. Good sound.

I was looking for a 5 channel receiver/amp so I could utilize my existing surround sound speaker system after my old AIWA receiver finally died. I looked at PYLE units but the reviews scared me off. I saw this unit at B&H and it had everything I was looking for. Although it is not an actual Dolby or DTS processor it does have 5.2 channel output and 5.2 RCA inputs so I can order a separate Dolby/DTS decoder that has 5.1 output and still get true surround sound. I run my HDTV through it to get surround sound over the 5.1 channels (I only have one subwoofer). The sound of this unit over my AIWA speakers is excellent and the AM/FM receiver is picks up well after connecting the antenna. The remote offers the ability to change all of the parameters of the unit and works easily from 30 feet away. The only drawback is the remote will not turn the unit off but I hit that on my way to the bedroom after we're done watching TV. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the volume of the 5 channels independently. It seems to be well built and I expect many years of service from it. I did a lot of comparing of various priced units and all in all I think this unit is a great value for the money and I am very happy with it.

This replaced an a/v receiver, 4 surround speakers and a sub woofer. What a difference. Totally realistic sound, from the local TV News to a movie. This bar rocks!

I went from a 5 speaker surround sound system to these speakers and they're much better. I love to getting rid of all my extra speakers wires and receiver and being able to Bluetooth to the speakers is great also.

I bought this a week ago to replace a Yamaha receiver for my surround sound and my son had no problems installing. The remote works through my screened cabinet easily to turn on and to adjust the volume! Love the bluetooth!

I bought this to upgrade TV sound when not using my surround receiver and it hasn't disappointed. It works flawlessly with HDMI ARC and provides excellent sound quality for the price.

I bought this receiver to use with our surround sound projector and TV system. It works very well and was easy to set up. I enjoy the FM radio on also.

I previously had a surround sound receiver and 5 speakers and this sound bar is actually a lot better. The voice clarity is exceptional and there are several features to enhance surround sound like the 'true volume' feature that can enhance the voice clarity. Great bass and an equalizer to set different modes for movies, music, direct sound and game. It's very easy to set up. I searched many surround bars and for the inexpensive price for this bar, it is DEFINITELY worth it. I would recommend this sound bar.

I would like it if they could sell just the receiver so I could have two wireless signals.
