This product changes the way I drive: I got the charging mount, so I am able to just chuck my phone on the magnet and have access to the phone's map while I'm driving. It's super easy to install and even easier to use. It doesn't charge quickly, but I can't blame that on the unit (more the charge from the car). There are clips to 'hide' the cord as it connects into the cigarette lighter.

I have the version that charges wirelessly. It was easy to install and I'm very happy with both the rate of the wireless charge and the solid connection of the magnets with using the PD case. With using the case it's nice that the phone orientates itself when you mount it unlike cheaper mount and case combos I've used where the phone will spin or have a weak magnet and fall off when going over speed bumps or pot holes.

I got this case along with the car mount and couldn't be happIer! The case is so rugged and the magnet secures the phone to the mount very well.

I have a S21 Ultra and held off on this purchase for a while. One, I already had a magnet (for magnetic car mounts) attached to the back of my phone case; two, I truly enjoy my current phone case (Poetic brand); three, my car has Android Auto and so I don't really need my phone to be visible while driving. That said, I've been interested in Peak's mobile accessories for a while (primarily the tripod) and so finally decided to bite the bullet (a week after the holiday prices, sadly). Along with the case adapter, I purchased the mobile tripod, non charging car mount, and the universal bar mount (to be used on car steering wheels so I have my phone nearby when not in my own car). Suffice to say, once I pried my old magnet off and attached this adapter, my life felt like it changed. One, my charger stays in place when my driving (courtesy of the phone being held securely in place and not sitting in a seat); two, mobile tripod (duh); three, I can drive my parents' cars and not lose my phone (bar adapter); and four, this adapter is as secure as can freaking be (while also still being able to use my favorite phone case). Suffice to say, I've been recommending this adapter (and system) to any of my friends who are willing to listen.

I was always skeptical of magnetic mounts and passed several deals on Woot or other sites. I chanced upon a demo setup in the store and was very impressed with the hold. Bought one and installed it in my car. The base with the magnet attaches via sticky tape to the car. The magnet part is a ball/socket contraption in the base and can be held in a suitable angle by tightening a plastic nut. A metal plate goes on the phone. The metal plate can be inserted between the phone and case, or directly glued to the phone (plate has a sticky side). My purchase came with two plates a small the size of a quarter and a larger one the size of a credit card. I used the larger one on my iPhone 6 plus. I just put it in between the phone and case. The magnet is strong enough to hold my iPhone 6 plus at highway speeds. I have even run my car on rough spots on the streets to see if it would fall off. So far so good. I am yet to see how well the glue on the base holds up when summer comes along. One of the best uses I put this mount was attending a meeting, the kind of meeting where you have to dial in to listen and occasionally say a few words. I stuck my phone in landscape mode with gotomeeting running on it with audio streaming into my bluetooth headset.
