Wiring A Doorbell Camera

I had been looking for a doorbell solution but my entry way is small and it needed to be installed where the old doorbell was for the wiring (at right angle to door opening). With the "horizontal angled base bracket" it can sense someone walking up to the door and I can clearly see them on the porch. Everyone at home can also see who's at the door with the phone APP. Another great LOREX product.

I had a competitors video doorbell. As I don't have a bell wiring, my old one was battery operated. However, I was unimpressed by the diminishing battery life, the laggy and constant 'error message' prone app and was looking for an alternative. I was able to buy this when they offered the wall outlet option and I must say, it's an awesome product. Integration with Nest Hub is excellent.

Works as advertised. I use mine to monitor my new ring doorbell camera.

This particular doorbell camera has a great lens and very easy to install.

Everything looks much better now that the wiring is organized.

I needed this box, not for wiring or conduit but to extend the camera down from my eave so a flood light is not in the way. It works perfectly and looks like it is part of the camera.

I am upgrading my IP camera wiring to include patch panels, keystone jacks, Cat6 cable, and I wanted a single PoE Switch that could handle it all. I don't have all old cameras pluse the newer ones ported over yet but the switch runs very cool at the power supply and the switch itself. I think that running cool may lead to a longer component life. The switch is plugged into a full sinewave UPS also bought from B&H. I chose this switch which was more expensive than the slightly less powerful model but cheaper unit. One benefit this switch has is apparently the ability to recover from a short. One camera connection had a leak induced short and the switch turned off the port. I don't reccomend testing this on your setup but the switch port is fine.

I bought this to be used with my Ring pro Doorbell as my existing�doorbell transformer was underpowered. With this one, My ring pro doorbell works fine.� recommended

I just moved to a new home and installed the Circle View to work with my Apple Home and it has been the best of them all so far! Easy to install, clear picture, and I really like how it streams and saves.
