The HS210 wi-fi switch came with everything needed to make the wiring connections. The electrical box I have is deeper than the standard box, so accommodating the somewhat large switch and the wiring was not a problem. Wiring is straight forward if you are familiar with wiring a 3-way circuit. Be aware that a neutral wire is required and not all switch boxes will have a neutral. In my case, I only needed one of the two switches in the box to make the circuit work correctly. This may not be true in all cases. I'm going to use the second switch on another circuit. The switch works flawlessly so far. Setting up the switch with the Kasa app was fairly simple. I just followed the directions in the app. The only problem was I only needed one switch instead of the recommended two. The first switch was no problem, but the app would not let me continue, or quit without setting up the second switch, which I was not going to do. I had to restart my phone to exit the app. The first switch worked as it should without having to set up the unused switch. The restart button located just under the switch is very touchy. The switch restarted several times while I attached the cover plate. I used a double switch plate instead of the cover that came in the box and I had to make a few adjustments to get the cover to fit well over both switches. All in all, a very nice switch.

Using this switch to extend network connections in an old building with limited network wiring. I'm powering a Cisco 1600 series access point from this switch with no problems.

I am upgrading my IP camera wiring to include patch panels, keystone jacks, Cat6 cable, and I wanted a single PoE Switch that could handle it all. I don't have all old cameras pluse the newer ones ported over yet but the switch runs very cool at the power supply and the switch itself. I think that running cool may lead to a longer component life. The switch is plugged into a full sinewave UPS also bought from B&H. I chose this switch which was more expensive than the slightly less powerful model but cheaper unit. One benefit this switch has is apparently the ability to recover from a short. One camera connection had a leak induced short and the switch turned off the port. I don't reccomend testing this on your setup but the switch port is fine.

This slick little PoE switch is controlled by the UniFi management software (I'm using a CloudKey 2 controller), so I can visualize it on my network and run updates, etc. Note that there is not a PoE pass-through, even though the switch can be powered via PoE (or USB-C), it cannot provide power to any PoE device plugged into it.

Been needing a POE switch to not have to worry about extra cables and a power outlet. Love Ubiquiti products and this did not disappoint.

Works fine as a outlet. Easy to setup. Would like to be able to turn the light and off with its switch but cannot because the plug is the power source. Always have to use Siri to turn on and off. Not really any problem.

I had tried some other brand of smart switch and wall outlet are quite cheaper and their are no match with TP-link. Installation is no different from other brand but connecting to home WiFi and stability of connection are really different. I have mainly stay with TP-Link for now.
