I needed this box, not for wiring or conduit but to extend the camera down from my eave so a flood light is not in the way. It works perfectly and looks like it is part of the camera. 5 |

I am upgrading my IP camera wiring to include patch panels, keystone jacks, Cat6 cable, and I wanted a single PoE Switch that could handle it all. I don't have all old cameras pluse the newer ones ported over yet but the switch runs very cool at the power supply and the switch itself. I think that running cool may lead to a longer component life. The switch is plugged into a full sinewave UPS also bought from B&H. I chose this switch which was more expensive than the slightly less powerful model but cheaper unit. One benefit this switch has is apparently the ability to recover from a short. One camera connection had a leak induced short and the switch turned off the port. I don't reccomend testing this on your setup but the switch port is fine. 5 |

A bit of a learning curve from the R5 (why reverse the on/off switch & the movie/stills switch) but now I have a camera that can hold focus on fly-overs which it's predecessor wouldn't 5 |

Buying macro lenses on a limited budget can be a challenge. However, purchasing adapter rings that not only require one to reverse the lens but then lose communication between the lens and the camera makes macro photography a drag. Using these extension tubes is a life-saver in that not only do I get great photos but I do not have to reverse the lens or lose communication between lens and camera. And the price is right! 5 |
