I recently picked up the UTM-86 law mic. My main plan is to tuck this on a subject with my Zoom H1, and let it go! I've got a couple weddings coming up that this will be perfect for the groom. I also love all the different mounting options it came with. I feel confident no matter the attire of the subject, I'll be able to place it effectively. I've used the mic with the added XLR power supply to send audio right in my camera. For environments where I can leave the subject wired, its great to run the audio right in the camera and not have to worry about syncing it up later in post! My friend who is a pro-sound mixer was very surprised at how well it stood up, when comparing it to his considerably more expensive law mic. Happy Customer! 5 |
