These bookshelf speakers sound great and tonality is balanced. In addition, I have a Sony 10" subwoofer. Overall, it exceeded my expectation.

I bought the Klipsch bookshelf setup with the four small speakers, the midrange, and the 12" sub woofer twenty five years ago. The system has been used A LOT, and sometimes very loud. It still sounds as good as the day I bought them. If the new system is anything like the old one, Its like a once in a life time buy. By the way, you've found a way to take my Klipsch with me, the Klipsch Groove. Just bought one, so far so good. I will let you know in twenty five years how much I used it and liked it.

The Sony bookshelf speakers are amazing. I will also mention good service since the delivery was fast and everything was accurate.

I have a lot of (electronic) equipment that rest on surfaces which are not secured or fastened. For instance, I have many bookshelf speakers (used for home theatre surround systems) that sit on speakers stands that make me very nervous. Anyone or anything can knock them over with just little effort. By using that Rip-Tie, I instantly improved on stability. It's by no means super secure but it's certainly better than none at all. Because I have black speakers, they subtly blend in well. If you are in the same situation, get some now.

This sounds about as good as any of the other smart bookshelf (Echo, Nest, Homepod, etc) speakers, but the real benefit of a Sonos is that its not married to a single music ecosystem. Echos work will with Amazon, but everything else is a challenge. Same with Homepod and Apple and Nest and Google. The Sonos works with everything and allows you to change your mind on Music Services
