This is a very nice stand. It includes a wooden top unlike most of the cheap metal stands. Super nice for the $$.

All the Wooden Camera Canon C70 accessory kits suffer from a design flaw - The top plate and handle only interface with the camera via one bolt. As a result, the top plate consistently works loose from the camera and introduces an unacceptable amount of play into any peripherals attached to the camera. I'm certain Wooden Camera developed this accessory to solve this design flaw. This accessory adds a mounting point so that the cage also connects via a bolt underneath the camera. So yes, this is a great product, but only because it solves a design flaw that should not have been present to start with. I expect more from Wooden Camera accessory kits especially at their price point.

I love the design and quality of Wooden Camera. This is my second camera cage from Wooden Camera and everything they make is built to last. It's a higher price point thank the entry level, but I've always found them to be well worth it. If you want to enjoy working with your equipment, Wooden Camera is the way to go.

This is an amazing purchase, in tandem with the wooden arm its perfect to attach anything to a stand. Its so well built you never have to worry about it losing tension.

This clamp was a bit smaller then I anticipated but is still plenty strong and can get around a c-stand. I love this whole clamp system from Wooden Camera, so versatile.

I have two of this units bigger brother and bought this one for my office and travel. It does not stand upright on its own. I made a wooden bracket for it. Price wise, I thinks it's on the high side ... but great sound. So good in fact that I don't hear much of a difference than from the larger unit.

I'm a television and film professional and I purchase Matthews products every chance I get. This stand will not disappoint.
