Writing On A Glass Screen Protector

If you loath writing on glass and miss paper, this is the screen protector for you!

I use my Ipad for classes, and writing on this screen protector makes it so much easier then tempered glass.

Okay, so I recently bought the Paperlike 2. I have to say the product is okay for what it does but there are a few issues. Before Paperlike, I used to have a glass screen protector on my iPad so my screen quality was outstanding given the iPads so graphics and the clear glass screen protector. Although the glass screen protector makes the visuals outstanding there was only one problem which was using the apple pencils with the glass screen protector. I use notability a lot to write up notes and when using it with the Apple Pencil there seems to be less control when writing on the glass screen protector. So I started to research different screen protectors in the market. I was looking for a screen protector that would do exactly what Paperlike was trying to achieve which is a screen protector with a Paperlike feel. Having read the reviews I purchased the screen protector and applied it to my iPad. I did a fairly good job there is only a few bubbles but not too noticeable. After applying the screen protector I was impressed with the writing and the texture of the screen protector however, the screen protector is still very grainy and not as clear as I hoped. If the grainy affect was completely gone, this would be the best screen protector on the market hands down. Not the price, not going to lie it is quite steep but you do get 2 screen protectors and honestly I would have liked a third for the price I’m paying. This screen protector is better than the iPad glass screen. I use BitPaper a lot, and the writing on top of this protector makes it feel much better - the grip it provides makes the writing much better. Customer service is amazing, too. They helped to deliver it faster than expected, due to the lockdown.

I previous has a good tempered glass screen protector for my iPad, but using it with the Apple Pencil was always kind of unpleasant because the Pencil would just glide across the screen which lead to less control while writing or drawing. But, since I've been using my iPad more for annotating sheet music and the like, I wanted a more natural writing experience. Paperlike provides a much better experience with the Pencil than just the glass screen or a glass protector. The slightly rough, matte finish has three great benefits that stand out. (1) It provides a more pleasant, natural writing experience, (2) the matte finish eliminates glare and (2) greatly reduces fingerprints for a more pleasant viewing experience. It was also easy enough to apply with good instructional material. I would buy this again.

As a student taking notes and drawing is a hassle without this screen protector as writing on glass feels slippery and uncomfortable. The feel of the screen protector is similar to the texture of paper which makes it comfortable to write and use daily. The applying process is made relatively easy and fast as they provide all the materials to clean and apply the Paperlike. The product is by no means cheap but is worth every penny of it. I look forward to any upgrades made towards their paperlike product when future iPads are released.

Writing on the Paperlike screen protector gave a paperlike experience and I enjoyed writing on the iPad after applying the screen protector. Prevents the pencil from "gliding" on the surface which gives good control over every stroke.
