How can I establish a wired connection with my desktop to use Microphone as well as speakers both? I am using ASUS X99 Deluxe motherboard and it has several connection options and that's confusing me a little bit. I read in some answers below it's recommended to use 3.5mm jack with 3 rings(aka TRSS or 4 pole cable). Does the cable on the PC end need to have a splitter, so that it can go in the line-in and mic-in ports of the motherboard(ASUS X99 deluxe)? If possible please provide a full description or the name of the cable. Thanks! 5 |

Another great value for me, Hosa hasn't let me down. I'm running directly out from my X99 Asrock motherboard to my newly acquired Kanto YU4 active speakers. No fuss, just clean and crisp audio. Be sure to check your lengths! These came in 5' and 10' lengths as I added to cart fully assuming I'd be receiving at 2 meter long cable initially and ordered the 5' model, no fault on Hosa completely on me. First time building my own PC, I used this case with PCpart picker and it fits everything perfectly. It's got a wonderful little back panel section to run wires through a non-visible section of the case that helps make everything inside look nice and pretty. Seems super durable, all the sensitive (glass and plastic) surfaces come with plastic on them to protect them while shipping. Super solid feeling and honestly just feels like a high quality case.
