[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to play Xbox but I have always had a problem with the amount of storage the games need to play them. This 3TB gives me more than enough room to download all my games and more. Some of my games are almost 100gb and without the extra external storage it would take up almost hard drive. Hooking the external hard drive up was very easy and just needed to be plugged in directly to the Xbox. The Xbox will recognize it and will be ready to move downloads and store them as needed. The hardrive may look small but 3TB is a very large amount of space! This external hard drive is great quality and I'm pleased how easy set up was with it. 5 |

Lots of room. No problems with my computer quickly recognizing it (unlike numerous other external hard drives I've used). Use them for long-term travel so the rugged body provides peace of mind. At this price, for this capacity and ease of use, it was well worth getting a second one in order to be sure many TBs of video and photo files are safely backed up. 5 |

I had trouble with Yosemite recognizing this external drive.Others have had this same problem with a variety of external drives with this OS as I subsequently found out searching the internet.The activity light would come on but it did not show up in Finder as a device or on the desktop.Kext Utility 2.6.1 was suggested as a remedy but I could never get a download unassociated with a lot of software I did not need.I left the WD My Passport 3 TB attached to my Apple MacBook Pro attached x 24 hours and for reasons entirely unknown to me,it was recognized and is working fine now.From searching the internet, this is not a unique experience. Hopefully,no further problems with the drive & Yosemite. 5 |
