I bought this to replace a Davis & Sanford Magnum XG that was a great price and when working was awesome tripod. But the legs kept coming loose as did the center column and no matter how much I tried tightening them the darn thing broke. But the New Sirui feels far more solid than the Davis & Sanford and it is slightly smaller. Had it a few weeks and love it so far. 5 |

Using IPerf got 9.xG. Had to run concurrently to see. Had device on WiFi and also connected via LAN. It did bring my network down. Once I removed the WiFi it’s been fine. Looks like devices with sam MAC id causes some kind of a loop. Initially did not know what caused it. It’s been few weeks and it’s working fine. 5 |

Bought this to replace a UAS-XG. I paired it with four, 12 TB Seagate Skyhawk AI drives and 21 UniFi G3 bullet cameras. I was a bit skeptical on how it would perform with this many cameras, but CPU and memory usage haven't gone above 50% with 24x7 recording, 6 Mbps bitrate and 30fps. Migration from UniFI video was easy (just had to export a backup config from the UAS-XG, shut it down, then import it into Protect). 5 |
