Xtreme Bluetooth Wireless Music Receiver Reviews

I bought this B1 Bluetooth Music Receiver for my Audioengine A5+ speakers. Streaming music from my iPhone 6 works seamlessly, was simple to set up, and streams in high quality. I am very happy with this device. It is worth the extra money for sure.

I love that it is wireless and internet based and not Bluetooth. Also love all the music options.

I was looking for a Bluetooth device to play music from my Ipod and Ipad to my older Denon receiver. After looking at the reviews, I picked this one even though it was pricey than others I have looked at. When it arrived, it was well packaged, came with a usb power supply , usb cable, gold plated audio cables and a cloth bag to store the unit. Even though it has a optical digital output, No optical cable was included. I had this for about 3 months now and I can say that I'm really impressed with it and wouldn't hesitate to buy any of their products. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a high quality Bluetooth receiver.

Nice receiver, the Bluetooth works great. I stream radio through my phone and music from an mp3 player. The only minor dislike is the volume nob doesn't turn freely, it's got resistance.

I bought this about a month ago to replace a 34 year old (!) Sony Stereo receiver. The old one had AM-FM receiver capability. This one only has FM Receiver built-in, but it sounds a lot cleaner than the older model. This one has fewer output jacks than my older one, but is more than adequate for my setup (Sony Stereo Cassette Deck - going on 20 years now also !), and a bluetooth Audio-Technica Record Player. This model also contains the regular size headphone jack AND a standard audio output jack on the front for older style cassette players, walkman's, etc. Very unusual feature but useful for me as I still use some of that older gear from time to time. I primarily bought and use this product for its bluetooth capability which works excellently. I have my phone, and computer able to play music to it through bluetooth. I realize bluetooth specs don't carry the full frequency range for a lot of audio musical pieces (such as classical music), but for the everyday average pop music it's just fine. This is a great entry level unit for a person who is not an audio-phile. I also bought this because of Sony durability in its products. This thing is built like a brick. Good design accents, solid metal frame, heavy duty components. I will always buy Sony products - good balance between cost, design, and functionality. Couldn't be happier with this product.

The 5V iFi Power is powering my bluetooth receiver for my vintage amp. Music streamed from my iphone now has an expanded sound stage and a lower noise floor. Sounds great.

I first got one of these for my laptop at work when I started having an entrapped ulnar nerve and wanted a more ergonomic workstation. At first, I tried a Microsoft bluetooth mouse which cost more and would constantly disconnect and require setting up so I did a little research and got the M310. One reason I wanted bluetooth was because the last time I bought a wireless mouse/keyboard (also from Logitech), the receiver was huge and had to be hidden. It also had very low range. To my surprise, the nano receiver with the new M310 is really small - nano if you will, but has much more range than the old style wireless mice. Just for giggles, I was trying it across the room and it still worked. I just leave the nano receiver in the USB port of my laptop all the time and it still fits in my bag. While I was going through painful cortisone injections which did little to help my gimp wrist, I was also happy to use this mouse on either left or right hand as it works both ways (giggity). It's really an elegant design. It's also very light, uses only one AA battery, and battery life is about a year. I liked it so much that now that my wrist is better due to stretching exercises I found on youtube from doctors (which may or may not be legit), I got one for my desktop workstation too which up till then had a wired mouse. It's time to evolve. I'm curious whether the receiver/mouse pairings can be updated in case one or the other is lost.

I'm a bit of a gear head, and I have used many different types of wireless audio. Before purchasing this, I owned 4 different wireless mic systems, each with a specific use case (professional use for projects, weddings, etc). After one of my units failed on set, I came back to purchase the original Blink 500 to give it a shot as a last resort for a small wireless mic system, despite the drawbacks that people spoke of in reviews. Then I saw a video that was released the day prior advertising a new version with a screen! Decided to wait until it was available before buying the original. I'm glad I held out! This Blink500 Pro answers all the shortcomings that people brought up in reviews or comparisons. Screens on both transmitter and receiver takes the guesswork out of what each one is doing, and gives the ability to change settings. Easy USB charging (though microUSB, wish it was USB-C!). Mic and line in on transmitters w/built in mics; Headphone and line out on receiver as well. And the biggest upgrade in my opinion - the ability to send a stereo mix out or a mono out signal to the camera! This allows me to use this in more professional settings where I can independently mix audio from both transmitters. This alone is a great reason to upgrade. But we buy wireless audio not only for convenience, but for audio quality. I'm happy to report that this thing shines with crystal clear, low noise output with no dropouts in my tests and shoots. This will be my go-to system for most of my shoots going forward. I can't wait for the updated RxDi and RxUC mobile phone receivers to really expand this system for use on phones and tablets.
