I was looking to upgrade my 12 Year Old Yamaha CD Multi Disc player and was considering other brands. Much to my surprise Yamaha brought their multi disc player back for 2024. I just received it and the sound is great! Much better than streaming music. Just like turntables, CD's are back and this player is a great investment to enjoy your music. I bought this to connect my Yamaha 5-disc CD player. I have some old Yamaha speakers and subwoofer connected, along with a pair of klipsch bookend speakers. The sound of the system is amazing! I was using a different receiver, and the sound was hallow and not nearly as crisp. This is a great receiver, especially for the money. 5 |

I purchased a pair of these Auray IP-M Isolation Pads for a non-typical application. Our church has a sound booth on an elevated platform. The floor of this platform tends to transmit any movement through the carpet and up the equipment rack. The end result of which was that our CD Player frequently skipped when the operator made the slightest movement on the platform. Not good for live performance of special music when an accompaniment CD was used. Our CD Player was old, so while replacing it, I chose to add these isolation pads as a shock-upsorbing surface on which to place the new player. This has worked out rather well. The new player may be part of the improvement, but the isolation pads greatly reduce any vibrations from movement on the platform. So far the player has not skipped while a CD is playing. 5 |
