Yamaha Dbr10 Keyboard Active

I bought 2 of these, not for QSC K10 speakers, but for two Yamaha DBR10 powered speakers. The Yamaha bag is terrible, I had them and returned them, and the DBR10 speakers fit perfectly in this bag.

I currently own a set of Mackie SRM 350 V3's, and I'm very happy with them. I'm a dj and I'm trying to downsize my system and make it more compact, but loud and not compromise the sound. So I've been using my Mackie's with my Yamaha DXS12 MKII sub, and it works great, but the spl's on the Mackie's we're insufficient for some of my larger venues. I decided to go with the DBR10's cause I've noticed the specs for the frequency response were close enough, but what caught my attention was the 129db max spl! So I bought a pair, great job on shipping time B&H, and once I hooked them up and began to crank them, I was blown away by the sound quality, but especially how loud and transparent they sounded! Very pristine and accurate sound like my RCF's, but not at RCF prices, lol! I've been djing 40 years and I've been thru many brands of speakers, these Yamaha DBR10's are now my favorite! Compact, loud, but very clear! They can be used without a sub for small venues and rock them! With my Yamaha sub, forget about it! They are a perfect match, and they all fit in my trunk! I highly recommend them!

I replaced my active monitors with the ELAC speakers and a Yamaha integrated amplifier. Since the ELAC has coaxial arrangement of tweeter + midrange, I felt it would work fine for near field listening. I'm very happy with the result. With nothing playing, the combination of amp with passive speakers has no background hiss. My old monitors had audible hiss and non-defeatable auto-shutoff unless the playback was kept sufficiently loud. I'm using an RME ADI-2 DAC feeding the Yamaha amp. I chose ELAC's Satin White with Oak Sides to escape the all-black look of my old monitors.

This Yamaha Keyboard Bag is just great. It's compact. It's a perfect size for my keyboard to fit in. It protects it on all sides.
