Yamaha Flute Open Hole

I purchased an open box DS1821+. I was hesitant due to the fact it was not 'new', but I grabbed it anyway. If it had been unboxed previously, I could not tell, though there was a hole in the box, possibly from a forks? Anyway, where the hole was, there was a matching dent in the side of the case, but it works flawlessly. I would recommend Synology for anyone needing NAS/SAN storage for their home lab, or for their small office. 5 |

As others have mentioned, this is a great accessory for your 7' Parabolic. An easy to transport and setup alternative to a soft box. Well worth the money. I use it with both the white and the silver umbrellas and liked it so much that I bought another. Here's the trick to mounting it quickly and single-handedly. Do NOT try to mount it to a fully opened umbrella - that will require two people. Just take the closed umbrella and insert it through the hole in the diffuser, tip first, until the umbrella is completely inside the diffuser hole. With the umbrella pointed to the floor, reach through the hole and slowly start to open up the umbrella. As the umbrella opens, it will apply equal pressure to the elastic band and then you can right the umbrella and lock it in the open position and the diffuser will be taut and even. Then you can mount the umbrella shaft onto your light. No need for two people! 5 |

Cover is well made and fit well. There is a need to open several hole to expose camera buttons. I used copper tubing to neatly punch holes were needed. 5 |

If you have any DTX Module from Yamaha , then you know this is the only hi hat pedal that will work correctly . Yes I have tried other pedals and they don't work . Only Yamaha hi hat controllers work with DTX 500 and above Modules . B&H has the Lowest price on this pedal . Pedal works great, open , half open , closed and foot splash or foot hit . Quick shipping and great packaging . So if you own a Yamaha Module and you need a hi hat pedal , look no further . 5 |

One of the best (some would say the best...) microphone in the business, particularly for vocals and lower sound level instruments (acoustic guitar, flute, etc...). Extremely sensitive, very low noise. Picks up the tiniest detail. The switchable polar pattern, integrated low cut filter and 10 dB attenuation pad means you can use them for anything in any situation, couple of switches and you are done. Just did a simultaneous recording with my Schoeps on a flute and these sounded even better, if that was at all possible. More velvet and refinment in the mid tones. You could immediately tell why they are unsurpassed on voice. If you can afford it and don't mind how large they are, this is the quintessential studio mic you need in your arsenal. 5 |
