Yamaha Hs 8 Studio Monitor

Almost a perfect fit for my Yamaha HS-8s.

If you need a passive near field studio monitor a little like Yamaha NS10s but with a nicer sound these are your babies! They have low distortion and a really nice high end and not harsh but also retain a very workable low end which makes mixing a breeze. I use them everyday as a mixer in Los Angeles.

First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE.

This is a quality lightweight cable. I am using them in our HS studio for composite video and they work great.

Works nice with Yamaha HS8 Powered Studio Monitors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is using the adapter for hs new monitor and he says that it is workng well. The adapter is well made and not made with cheap materials. As long as the product contiues to work, I will always look to this brand in the future.

We've been using this as the Preview monitor for our ATEM Mini in a portable production for our HS basketball games. Very bright, very visible. Can't wait to get the 10 model when it comes out.

As a long time user of KRK and Yamaha studio monitors -,I was blown away by the Sound reproduction of the 8010s! ..These little marvels have now replaced both my Yamaha HS5 and KRK rockit 5”s as my go to mixing monitors for music and film projects .,, could not be happier ..
