As a long time user of KRK and Yamaha studio monitors -,I was blown away by the Sound reproduction of the 8010s! ..These little marvels have now replaced both my Yamaha HS5 and KRK rockit 5”s as my go to mixing monitors for music and film projects .,, could not be happier ..

I use these for my Yamaha NS90 speakers and the stands are perfect for those. Great to be able to adjust height depending on ear level.

I needed an audio interface to connect my iMac with my Yamaha HS5 monitors. I don't record into my computer and primarily needed a good audio set up to edit video. I also didn't want to pay for an audio interface that offered unnecessary features, just wanted something to wire my iMac audio out to monitors. After digging around I found the Peavy USB-P, and it's exactly what I needed. It connects to my iMac vis USB and then sends the audio signal out to my Yamaha HS5's via XLR cables. It sounds great! No hum or buzz. My only wish is that the USB connector and the XLR outputs were on the same side of the device, so I didn't have cables coming out of both side.

The Avantone CLA-200 Studio Reference Amplifier is easily the best purchase I made all year. I own a pair of Yamaha NS 10M Studio Monitors and for years I just used random amplifiers to power them. I decided this year to invest in a better quality amplifier to improve the overall sound quality of my Monitors. After weeks of research And reading countless reviews I decided to go with the CLA-200. I must say the shipping was immediate and I received the new amplifier the very next day after ordering. I can't stress how impressed I was with the sound quality the CLA-200 brought to my NS-10's. The clarity and the frequency response was just amazing. I highly recommend the CLA-200 for any and all Yamaha NS10 users. You won't be disappointed!

I had been looking at these Yamaha monitors for over a month, and was also trying to decide what to do about a monitor controller. So needless to say I was THRILLED to find this kit! Saved a lot of money, and i could not be happier with the quality of every component! Speakers and sub sound absolutely fantastic, especially for the price. Monitor stationand cables are all top notchas well!!

I was on the hunt to find something suitable for my heavy monitors (Yamaha HS7's = 18lbs or 8.2kg) These match the white color of my monitors perfectly. Theres a nice protective gripy rubber on the bottom and where the monitor sits on top and on the back piece that supports the monitor. These are heavy monitors and there is a little bouncing if I were to move the desk around. These are on my desk and my desk is solid and does not raise up and down. *I would Not recommend these for sit/stand desks as there will be too much bounce with this design and your expensive monitors are not worth the risk. that being said, I have no worries about these on my desk and even if I apply pushing force from side to side/front to back, theres no fear of it toppling. and these are beautiful!

I replaced my active monitors with the ELAC speakers and a Yamaha integrated amplifier. Since the ELAC has coaxial arrangement of tweeter + midrange, I felt it would work fine for near field listening. I'm very happy with the result. With nothing playing, the combination of amp with passive speakers has no background hiss. My old monitors had audible hiss and non-defeatable auto-shutoff unless the playback was kept sufficiently loud. I'm using an RME ADI-2 DAC feeding the Yamaha amp. I chose ELAC's Satin White with Oak Sides to escape the all-black look of my old monitors.

I bought a set of Yamaha HS8 powered monitors. They have balanced inputs and I am feeding them from my digital recorder -- the Zoom F8 -- which works as a USB Audio Interface. I would say that a volume control is required with a set of powered monitors. The build quality of the PMC-II is solid and the control is precise and smooth. You have the option to use either balanced or single ended connections. I use balanced and the audio quality is great. Without the controller I get some interference unless I use balanced connections. The Mute button is convenient but a Dim button would have been nice too.
